Revert "crypto: api - Use work queue in crypto_destroy_instance"

This reverts commit 048545d9fc which is
commit 9ae4577bc0 upstream.

It breaks the android KABI so revert it.  If it needs to come back in
the future, it can be modified to do so in an abi-safe way.
