When re-applying the configuration after a successful usb device reset,
xhci_discover_or_reset_device has already dropped the endpoints, and free-ed
the rings.
The endpoints already being dropped is expected, and should not lead to
warnings. Use the fact that the rings are also free-ed in this scenario to
detect this, and suppress the "xHCI xhci_drop_endpoint called with disabled
ep ..." message in this case.

The USB stack provides a mechanism for drivers to request an
asynchronous device reset (usb_queue_reset_device()). The mechanism
uses a work item (reset_ws) embedded in the usb_interface structure
used by the driver, and the reset is carried out by a work queue
routine.
The asynchronous reset can race with driver unbinding. When this
happens, we try to cancel the queued reset before unbinding the
driver, on the theory that the driver won't care about any resets once
it is unbound.
However, thanks to the fact that lockdep now tracks work queue
accesses, this can provoke a lockdep warning in situations where the
device reset causes another interface's driver to be unbound; see

for an example. The reason is that the work routine for reset_ws in
one interface calls cancel_queued_work() for the reset_ws in another
interface. Lockdep thinks this might lead to a work routine trying to
cancel itself. The simplest solution is not to cancel queued resets
when unbinding drivers.
This means we now need to acquire a reference to the usb_interface
when queuing a reset_ws work item and to drop the reference when the
work routine finishes. We also need to make sure that the
usb_interface structure doesn't outlive its parent usb_device; this
means acquiring and dropping a reference when the interface is created
and destroyed.
In addition, cancelling a queued reset can fail (if the device is in
the middle of an earlier reset), and this can cause usb_reset_device()
to try to rebind an interface that has been deallocated (see
http://marc.info/?l=linux-usb&m=142175717016628&w=2 for details).
Acquiring the extra references prevents this failure.

The code handling Get Hub Descriptor request copies data from root_hub_des[],
then overwrites byte 3 with real 'wHubCharacteristics' value. There's no need
to overwrite, we can substitute the real value right into root_hub_des[3].

exynos_drm_manager was just a redundant struct to represent the crtc as
well. In this commit we merge exynos_drm_manager into exynos_drm_crtc to
remove an unnecessary level of indirection easing the understand of the
flow on exynos.

We can safely use the exynos_update_plane() to update the plane
framebuffer for both the overlay and primary planes.
Note that this patch removes a call to manager->ops->commit() in
exynos_drm_crtc_mode_set_commit(). The commit() call is used only by the
fimd driver to set underlying timings and need only in full modeset
operations. For plane update only win_commit is needed.

DPMS only makes sense when the mode changes, for plane update changes do
not perform any dpms operation.
This move places the win_commit() and commit() calls directly in the code
instead of calling exynos_drm_crtc_commit() thus avoiding DPMS operations.

DPMS settings should only be changed by a full modeset.

struct exynos_drm_overlay has no practical advantage nor serves as
important piece of the exynos API design. The only place it was used
was inside the struct exynos_plane which was just causing a extra
access overhead. Users had to access the overlay first and just then
get the plane information it contains.
This patch merges struct exynos_drm_overlay into struct exynos_plane.
It also renames struct exynos_plane to struct exynos_drm_plane.
The rational is to cut one step to access plane information.

struct exynos_drm_manager will be merged into struct exynos_drm_crtc, in
the sense we will move all its members to exynos_drm_crtc, so to start
this conversion exynos_drm_crtc need to be exposed as well.

The functionality provided by the Android alarm-dev driver
should now be present in the timerfd interface (thanks to
Greg Hackmann and Todd Poynor).
As of Lollipop, AOSP can make use of the timerfd if
alarm-dev is not present (though a fixup for setting the
rtc time if rtc0 isn't the backing for _ALARM clockids has
been applied post-Lollipop).
Thus, we should be able to remove alarm-dev from staging.

This is only an API consolidation and should make things more readable
Converting milliseconds to jiffies by val * HZ / 1000 is technically
not wrong but msecs_to_jiffies(val) is the cleaner solution and handles
corner cases correctly.
