40f9ca60c5 mei: bus: call mei_cl_read_start under device lock
commit bc46b45a42 upstream.

Ensure that mei_cl_read_start is called under the device lock
also in the bus layer. The function updates global ctrl_wr_list
which should be locked.

2e6440e925 mei: amthif: discard not read messages
commit 9d04ee11db upstream.

When a message is received and amthif client is not in reading state
the message is ignored and left dangling in the queue. This may happen
after one of the amthif host connections is closed w/o completing the
reading. Another client will pick up a wrong message on next read
attempt which will lead to link reset.
To prevent this the driver has to properly discard the message when
amthif client is not in reading state.

2826506a7f mei: fix NULL dereferencing during FW initiated disconnection
commit 6a8d648c8d upstream.

In the case when disconnection is initiated from the FW
the driver is flushing items from the write control list while
iterating over it:

mei_irq_write_handler()
    list_for_each_entry_safe(ctrl_wr_list) <-- outer loop
         mei_cl_irq_disconnect_rsp()
             mei_cl_set_disconnected()
                 mei_io_list_flush(ctrl_wr_list) <-- destorying list

We move the list flushing to the completion routine.

985a340136 Revert "misc: uid_stat: Include linux/atomic.h instead of asm/atomic.h"
This reverts commit 8d3a6c1538.

This series of patches revert AOSP UID_STAT and NET_ACTIVITY_STATS drivers.
I could not find any meaningful usage of these interfaces in AOSP master.

UID_STAT driver expose "/proc/uid_stat/*" interfaces but it is only
used in AOSP master as in what appears be an out of date bandwidth
test in frameworks/base and in somewhat recent battery utils test
in external/chromium-trace project.

NET_ACTIVITY_STATS driver expose "/proc/net/stat/activity" interface
but I can not track its usage anywhere in AOSP at all.

b184522f68 cxl: Keep IRQ mappings on context teardown
commit d6776bba44 upstream.

Keep IRQ mappings on context teardown. This won't leak IRQs as if we
allocate the mapping again, the generic code will give the same
mapping used last time.

Doing this works around a race in the generic code. Masking the
interrupt introduces a race which can crash the kernel or result in
IRQ that is never EOIed. The lost of EOI results in all subsequent
mappings to the same HW IRQ never receiving an interrupt.

We've seen this race with cxl test cases which are doing heavy context
startup and teardown at the same time as heavy interrupt load.

A fix to the generic code is being investigated also.

e3d4bcc39f cxl: use correct operator when writing pcie config space values
commit 48f0f6b717 upstream.

When writing a value to config space, cxl_pcie_write_config() calls
cxl_pcie_config_info() to obtain a mask and shift value, shifts the new
value accordingly, then uses the mask to combine the shifted value with the
existing value at the address as part of a read-modify-write pattern.

Currently, we use a logical OR operator rather than a bitwise OR operator,
which means any use of this function results in an incorrect value being
written. Replace the logical OR operator with a bitwise OR operator so the
value is written correctly.

31a3049fb6 android: skip building drivers as modules
Few Android drivers e.g. uid_cputime and PPPoLAC/oPNS,
keyreset/combo, cpufreq_interactive etc.. fail to build
as kernel modules. Instead of fixing the build lets
make these drivers non-modular (switch config to "bool"
from "tristate" in Kconfig) since Android doesn't
support building kernel modules anyway.

21b0489251 uid_cputime: skip power reporting per uid for now
AOSP's cpufreq_stats patch to report power/current
per cpufreq is broken at the moment so skip power
reporting for now.

d19dc26df6 uid_cputime: Check for the range while removing range of UIDs.
Checking if the uid_entry->uid matches the uid intended to be removed will
prevent deleting unwanted uid_entry.
Type cast the key for the hashtable to the same size, as when they were
inserted. This will make sure that we can find the uid_entry we want.

dbd9fc75c4 uid_cputime: fix cputime overflow
Converting cputime_t to usec caused overflow when the value is greater
than 1 hour. Use msec and convert to unsigned long long to support bigger

2244d3438e uid_cputime: Avoids double accounting of process stime, utime and cpu_power in task exit.
This avoids the race where a particular process is terminating and we
read the show_uid_stats. At this time since the task_struct still exists
and we will account for the terminating process as one of the active
task, where as the stats would have been added in the task exit
callback.

28f0fe3054 proc: uid: Adds accounting for the cputimes per uid.
Adds proc files /proc/uid_cputime/show_uid_stat and
/proc/uid_cputime/remove_uid_range.

show_uid_stat lists the total utime and stime for the active as well as
terminated processes for each of the uids.

Writing a range of uids to remove_uid_range will delete the accounting
for all the uids within that range.
