29accb2d96 net/mlx5e: Properly disable vlan strip on non-UL reps
[ Upstream commit f37044fd75 ]

When querying mlx5 non-uplink representors capabilities with ethtool
rx-vlan-offload is marked as "off [fixed]". However, it is actually always
enabled because mlx5e_params->vlan_strip_disable is 0 by default when
initializing struct mlx5e_params instance. Fix the issue by explicitly
setting the vlan_strip_disable to 'true' for non-uplink representors.

1bfdcde723 ice: xsk: prohibit usage of non-balanced queue id
[ Upstream commit 5a42f112d3 ]

Fix the following scenario:
1. ethtool -L $IFACE rx 8 tx 96
2. xdpsock -q 10 -t -z

Above refers to a case where user would like to attach XSK socket in
txonly mode at a queue id that does not have a corresponding Rx queue.
At this moment ice's XSK logic is tightly bound to act on a "queue pair",
e.g. both Tx and Rx queues at a given queue id are disabled/enabled and
both of them will get XSK pool assigned, which is broken for the presented
queue configuration. This results in the splat included at the bottom,
which is basically an OOB access to Rx ring array.

To fix this, allow using the ids only in scope of "combined" queues
reported by ethtool. However, logic should be rewritten to allow such
configurations later on, which would end up as a complete rewrite of the
control path, so let us go with this temporary fix.

d29d7108e1 ice: xsk: Force rings to be sized to power of 2
[ Upstream commit 296f13ff38 ]

With the upcoming introduction of batching to XSK data path,
performance wise it will be the best to have the ring descriptor count
to be aligned to power of 2.

Check if ring sizes that user is going to attach the XSK socket fulfill
the condition above. For Tx side, although check is being done against
the Tx queue and in the end the socket will be attached to the XDP
queue, it is fine since XDP queues get the ring->count setting from Tx
queues.

50403ee6da nfc: pn533: Fix use-after-free bugs caused by pn532_cmd_timeout
[ Upstream commit f1e941dbf8 ]

When the pn532 uart device is detaching, the pn532_uart_remove()
is called. But there are no functions in pn532_uart_remove() that
could delete the cmd_timeout timer, which will cause use-after-free
bugs. The process is shown below:

    (thread 1)                  |        (thread 2)
                                |  pn532_uart_send_frame
pn532_uart_remove               |    mod_timer(&pn532->cmd_timeout,...)
  ...                           |    (wait a time)
  kfree(pn532) //FREE           |    pn532_cmd_timeout
                                |      pn532_uart_send_frame
                                |        pn532->... //USE

This patch adds del_timer_sync() in pn532_uart_remove() in order to
prevent the use-after-free bugs. What's more, the pn53x_unregister_nfc()
is well synchronized, it sets nfc_dev->shutting_down to true and there
are no syscalls could restart the cmd_timeout timer.

de3deadd11 rose: check NULL rose_loopback_neigh->loopback
[ Upstream commit 3c53cd65de ]

Commit 3b3fd068c5 added NULL check for
`rose_loopback_neigh->dev` in rose_loopback_timer() but omitted to
check rose_loopback_neigh->loopback.

It thus prevents *all* rose connect.

The reason is that a special rose_neigh loopback has a NULL device.

/proc/net/rose_neigh illustrates it via rose_neigh_show() function :
[...]
seq_printf(seq, "%05d %-9s %-4s   %3d %3d  %3s     %3s %3lu %3lu",
	   rose_neigh->number,
	   (rose_neigh->loopback) ? "RSLOOP-0" : ax2asc(buf, &rose_neigh->callsign),
	   rose_neigh->dev ? rose_neigh->dev->name : "???",
	   rose_neigh->count,

/proc/net/rose_neigh displays special rose_loopback_neigh->loopback as
callsign RSLOOP-0:

addr callsign dev count use mode restart t0 tf digipeaters
00001 RSLOOP-0  ???      1   2  DCE     yes   0   0

By checking rose_loopback_neigh->loopback, rose_rx_call_request() is called
even in case rose_loopback_neigh->dev is NULL. This repairs rose connections.

Verification with rose client application FPAC:

e9fe1283a8 mm/smaps: don't access young/dirty bit if pte unpresent
[ Upstream commit efd4149342 ]

These bits should only be valid when the ptes are present. Introducing
two booleans for it and set it to false when !pte_present() for both pte
and pmd accountings.

The bug is found during code reading and no real world issue reported, but
logically such an error can cause incorrect readings for either smaps or
smaps_rollup output on quite a few fields.

For example, it could cause over-estimate on values like Shared_Dirty,
Private_Dirty, Referenced. Or it could also cause under-estimate on
values like LazyFree, Shared_Clean, Private_Clean.

2761612bcd xfrm: policy: fix metadata dst->dev xmit null pointer dereference
[ Upstream commit 17ecd4a4db ]

When we try to transmit an skb with metadata_dst attached (i.e. dst->dev
== NULL) through xfrm interface we can hit a null pointer dereference[1]
in xfrmi_xmit2() -> xfrm_lookup_with_ifid() due to the check for a
loopback skb device when there's no policy which dereferences dst->dev
unconditionally. Not having dst->dev can be interepreted as it not being
a loopback device, so just add a check for a null dst_orig->dev.

With this fix xfrm interface's Tx error counters go up as usual.

1305d7d4f3 xfrm: fix refcount leak in __xfrm_policy_check()
[ Upstream commit 9c9cb23e00 ]

The issue happens on an error path in __xfrm_policy_check(). When the
fetching process of the object `pols[1]` fails, the function simply
returns 0, forgetting to decrement the reference count of `pols[0]`,
which is incremented earlier by either xfrm_sk_policy_lookup() or
xfrm_policy_lookup(). This may result in memory leaks.

Fix it by decreasing the reference count of `pols[0]` in that path.

70d560e2fb xfs: only bother with sync_filesystem during readonly remount
commit b97cca3ba9 upstream.

In commit 02b9984d64, we pushed a sync_filesystem() call from the VFS
into xfs_fs_remount. The only time that we ever need to push dirty file
data or metadata to disk for a remount is if we're remounting the
filesystem read only, so this really could be moved to xfs_remount_ro.

Once we've moved the call site, actually check the return value from
sync_filesystem.

1b9b4139d7 xfs: reject crazy array sizes being fed to XFS_IOC_GETBMAP*
commit 29d650f7e3 upstream.

Syzbot tripped over the following complaint from the kernel:

WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 15402 at mm/util.c:597 kvmalloc_node+0x11e/0x125 mm/util.c:597

While trying to run XFS_IOC_GETBMAP against the following structure:

struct getbmap fubar = {
	.bmv_count	= 0x22dae649,
};

Obviously, this is a crazy huge value since the next thing that the
ioctl would do is allocate 37GB of memory. This is enough to make
kvmalloc mad, but isn't large enough to trip the validation functions.
In other words, I'm fussing with checks that were **already sufficient**
because that's easier than dealing with 644 internal bug reports. Yes,
that's right, six hundred and forty-four.

6a564bad3a xfs: prevent a WARN_ONCE() in xfs_ioc_attr_list()
commit 6ed6356b07 upstream.

The "bufsize" comes from the root user. If "bufsize" is negative then,
because of type promotion, neither of the validation checks at the start
of the function are able to catch it:

	if (bufsize < sizeof(struct xfs_attrlist) ||
	    bufsize > XFS_XATTR_LIST_MAX)
		return -EINVAL;

This means "bufsize" will trigger (WARN_ON_ONCE(size > INT_MAX)) in
kvmalloc_node(). Fix this by changing the type from int to size_t.

df1d445e7f parisc: Fix exception handler for fldw and fstw instructions
commit 7ae1f5508d upstream.

The exception handler is broken for unaligned memory acceses with fldw
and fstw instructions, because it trashes or uses randomly some other
floating point register than the one specified in the instruction word
on loads and stores.

The instruction "fldw 0(addr),%fr22L" (and the other fldw/fstw
instructions) encode the target register (%fr22) in the rightmost 5 bits
of the instruction word. The 7th rightmost bit of the instruction word
defines if the left or right half of %fr22 should be used.

While processing unaligned address accesses, the FR3() define is used to
extract the offset into the local floating-point register set. But the
calculation in FR3() was buggy, so that for example instead of %fr22,
register %fr12 [((22 * 2) & 0x1f) = 12] was used.

This bug has been since forever in the parisc kernel and I wonder why it
wasn't detected earlier. Interestingly I noticed this bug just because
the libime debian package failed to build on *native* hardware, while it
successfully built in qemu.

This patch corrects the bitshift and masking calculation in FR3().

5d719265e2 Revert "USB: HCD: Fix URB giveback issue in tasklet function"
This reverts commit 4d7da7e565 which is
commit 26c6c2f8a9 upstream.

It breaks the Android GKI kernel abi, and is not needed for Android
devices, so revert it for now. If it is needed for this branch, it can
come back later in an ABI-stable way.

b5bf2997c3 FROMLIST: xfrm: Ensure policy checked for nested ESP tunnels
This change ensures that all nested XFRM packets have their policy
checked before decryption of the next layer, so that policies are
verified at each intermediate step of the decryption process.

Notably, raw ESP/AH packets do not perform policy checks inherently,
whereas all other encapsulated packets (UDP, TCP encapsulated) do policy
checks after calling xfrm_input handling in the respective encapsulation
layer.

This is necessary especially for nested tunnels, as the IP addresses,
protocol and ports may all change, thus not matching the previous
policies. In order to ensure that packets match the relevant inbound
templates, the xfrm_policy_check should be done before handing off to
the inner XFRM protocol to decrypt and decapsulate.

In order to prevent double-checking packets both here and in the
encapsulation layers, this check is currently limited to nested
tunnel-mode transforms and checked prior to decapsulation of inner
tunnel layers (prior to hitting a nested tunnel's xfrm_input, there
is no great way to detect a nested tunnel). This is primarily a
performance consideration, as a general blanket check at the end of
xfrm_input would suffice, but may result in multiple policy checks.

970e02667c FROMLIST: xfrm: Skip checking of already-verified secpath entries
This change fixes a bug where inbound packets to nested IPsec tunnels
fails to pass policy checks due to the inner tunnel's policy checks
not having a reference to the outer policy/template. This causes the
policy check to fail, since the first entries in the secpath correlate
to the outer tunnel, while the templates being verified are for the
inner tunnel.

In order to ensure that the appropriate policy and template context is
searchable, the policy checks must be done incrementally between each
decryption step. As such, this marks secpath entries as having been
successfully matched, skipping them (treating as optional) on subsequent
policy checks

By skipping the immediate error return in the case where the secpath
entry had previously been validated, this change allows secpath entries
that matched a policy/template previously, while still requiring that
each searched template find a match in the secpath.

For security:
- All templates must have matching secpath entries
  - Unchanged by current patch; templates that do not match any secpath
    entry still return -1. This patch simply allows skipping earlier
    blocks of verified secpath entries
- All entries (except trailing transport mode entries) must have a
  matching template
  - Unvalidated entries, including transport-mode entries still return
    the errored index if it does not match the correct template.

3527e3cbb8 bpf: Fix KASAN use-after-free Read in compute_effective_progs
commit 4c46091ee9 upstream.

Syzbot found a Use After Free bug in compute_effective_progs().
The reproducer creates a number of BPF links, and causes a fault
injected alloc to fail, while calling bpf_link_detach on them.
Link detach triggers the link to be freed by bpf_link_free(),
which calls __cgroup_bpf_detach() and update_effective_progs().
If the memory allocation in this function fails, the function restores
the pointer to the bpf_cgroup_link on the cgroup list, but the memory
gets freed just after it returns. After this, every subsequent call to
update_effective_progs() causes this already deallocated pointer to be
dereferenced in prog_list_length(), and triggers KASAN UAF error.

To fix this issue don't preserve the pointer to the prog or link in the
list, but remove it and replace it with a dummy prog without shrinking
the table. The subsequent call to __cgroup_bpf_detach() or
__cgroup_bpf_detach() will correct it.
