ANDROID: module: apply special LTO treatment to .text even if CFI is disabled
We currently only emit directives for handling the .text section into
the module linker script if both LTO and CFI are enabled, while for
other sections, we do this even if CFI is not enabled. This is
inconsistent at best, but as it also interferes with the assumption in
the fips140.ko module that the .text._start and .text._end input
sections are placed at the very start and end of the .text section,
which currently can only be relied upon if CFI is enabled.
So rearrange the #ifdef so that it only covers the .text.__cfi_check
input section. Note that aligning to page size is likely to be redundant
in any case, given that the .text section is laid out first, and module
allocations are page aligned to begin with, so making that part
unconditional is unlikely to make an observeable difference in the
output.

BACKPORT: kbuild: Fix TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS with LTO_CLANG
With CONFIG_LTO_CLANG, we currently link modules into native
code just before modpost, which means with TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS
enabled, we still look at the LLVM bitcode in the .o files when
generating the list of used symbols. As the bitcode doesn't
yet have calls to compiler intrinsics and llvm-nm doesn't see
function references that only exist in function-level inline
assembly, we currently need a whitelist for TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS to
work with LTO.
This change moves module LTO linking to happen earlier, and
thus avoids the issue with LLVM bitcode and TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS
entirely, allowing us to also drop the whitelist from
gen_autoksyms.sh.

UPSTREAM: Kbuild: lto: fix module versionings mismatch in GNU make 3.X
When building modules(CONFIG_...=m), I found some of module versions are incorrect and set to 0. This can be found in build log for first clean build which shows WARNING: EXPORT symbol "XXXX" [drivers/XXX/XXX.ko] version generation failed, symbol will not be versioned. But in second build(incremental build), the WARNING disappeared and the module version becomes valid CRC and make someone who want to change modules without updating kernel image can't insert their modules. FROMLIST: kbuild: mkcompile_h: consider timestamp if KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP is set
To avoid unnecessary recompilations, mkcompile_h does not regenerate compile.h if just the timestamp changed. Though, if KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP is set, an explicit timestamp for the build was requested, in which case we should not ignore it. If a user follows the documentation for reproducible builds [1] and defines KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP as the git commit timestamp, a clean build will have the correct timestamp. A subsequent cherry-pick (or amend) changes the commit timestamp and if an incremental build is done with a different KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP now, that new value is not taken into consideration. But it should for reproducibility. Hence, whenever KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP is explicitly set, do not ignore UTS_VERSION when making a decision about whether the regenerated version of compile.h should be moved into place. ANDROID: crypto: fips140 - perform load time integrity check
In order to comply with FIPS 140-2 requirements, implement a fips140
module that carries all AES, SHA-xxx and DRBG implementations with the
associated chaining mode templates, and perform an integrity selfcheck
at load time. The algorithms contained in the module will be registered
with the crypto API, and will supersede any existing copies of the same
algorithms that were already being provided by the core kernel.

Merge module sections only when using Clang LTO. With ld.bfd, merging sections does not appear to update the symbol tables for the module, e.g. 'readelf -s' shows the value that a symbol would have had, if sections were not merged. ld.lld does not show this problem. The stale symbol table breaks gdb's function disassembler, and presumably other things, e.g. gdb -batch -ex "file arch/x86/kvm/kvm.ko" -ex "disassemble kvm_init" reads the wrong bytes and dumps garbage. ANDROID: modpost: Check for KBUILD_MIXED_TREE for Modules.symvers
When building with KBUILD_MIXED_TREE, Modules.symvers will not be built
since vmlinux.symvers won't be in the normal build outputs. Fix this by
checking for the mixed-build-prefix in the Modules.symvers target.

ANDROID: Add missing CFI jump table symbols to kallsyms
With CONFIG_LTO_CLANG_FULL, LLVM drops all CFI jump table symbols from vmlinux, which doesn't affect kernel functionality, but can make stack traces and other kernel output that prints out jump table addresses harder to read. This change works around the issue for now by adding a script that tells kallsyms about the missing jump table symbols, even though they don't actually exist in the symbol table, and generates a linker script to add the missing symbols to kernel modules. ANDROID: Kbuild: Add support for KBUILD_MIXED_TREE
When KBUILD_MIXED_TREE points to the output folder of another kernel's build output, Kbuild can compile a complete kernel tree's modules against that other kernel tree's vmlinux. This is useful when two kernel trees exist: a "Generic Kernel Image" tree and a "device kernel" tree. Both trees are complete kernel source trees, and the "Generic Kernel Image" should provide the kernel Image and device kernel tree provides device driver modules. To accomplish this, references to vmlinux.symvers in the device kernel should point to the generic kernel's vmlinux.symvers and the device kernel should skip compilation of built-in files. FROMLIST: Makefile: fix GDB warning with CONFIG_RELR
GDB produces the following warning when debugging kernels built with CONFIG_RELR: BFD: /android0/linux-next/vmlinux: unknown type [0x13] section `.relr.dyn' when loading a kernel built with CONFIG_RELR into GDB. It can also prevent debugging symbols using such relocations. Peter sugguests: [That flag] means that lld will use dynamic tags and section type numbers in the OS-specific range rather than the generic range. The kernel itself doesn't care about these numbers; it determines the location of the RELR section using symbols defined by a linker script.
