ARMv6 cores do not implement the DBGOSLAR register, so we don't need to
try and clear it on boot. Furthermore, the VCR is zeroed out of reset,
so we don't need to zero it explicitly when a CPU comes online.

This patch cleans up several issues with VLANs on igb after the recent
changes that were meant to leave the VLANs enabled/disable via the
netdev->features flags.
Specifically the Rx VLAN settings were being dropped after reset due to the
fact that they were not being restored correctly. In addition I removed
the IRQ disable/enable since those were in place to protect the setting of
vlgrp.

Instead of doing a byte swap on the staterr bits in the Rx descriptor we can
save ourselves a bit of space and some CPU time by instead just testing for
the various bits out of the Rx descriptor directly.

This change is meant to cleanup some of the IVAR register configuration.
igb_assign_vector had become pretty large with multiple copies of the same
general code for setting the IVAR. This change consolidates most of that
code by adding the igb_write_ivar function which allows us just to compute
the index and offset and then use that information to setup the IVAR.

but are being converted to int unnecessarily. In order to avoid that we
should convert all variables that deal with the next_to_clean, next_to_use,
and count to u16 values.

This change is meant to update the ring and vector allocations so that they
are per node instead of allocating everything on the node that
ifconfig/modprobe is called on. By doing this we can cut down
significantly on cross node traffic.

Instead of storing most of the data for the TX hot path in the stack until
we are ready to write the descriptor we can save ourselves some time and
effort by pushing the SKB, tx_flags, gso_size, bytecount, and protocol into
the first igb_tx_buffer since that is where we will end up putting it
anyway.

We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled
and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler
returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a:
genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]).
So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed.

This pushes timing and other values into preinitialized read-only data
sections rather than being inlined into the code. None of these
functions are called more than a handful of times, so reducing code size
makes sense.

This mirrors a very old commit (3160d5416f, "sis5513: add
->udma_filter method for chipset_family >= ATA_133") to the old sis5513
IDE driver that prevents certain setups from working.
UDMA6 (ATA/133) is not supported on some chipsets and we need to ensure
this mode is not chosen even if a connected drive supports it. Port this
old patch forward to the new PATA driver to ensure UDMA5 is the highest
mode used if that is what is supported.

On imx53 AHCI, soft reset fails with IPMS set when PMP
is enabled but SATA HDD/ODD is connected to SATA port,
do soft reset again to port 0.
So the 'ahci_pmp_retry_srst_ops' is required when imx53
ahci is present.

ata_sff_data_xfer[32]() use pad area if the transfer size isn't
multiple of transfer size; however, this area wasn't cleared and
garbage data in pad area could be transferred to the device. Make
sure the pad area is cleared.

The driver uses dev_get_drvdata() to get to the driver data for the
platform and PCI devices, while the corresponding wrappers exists for
them -- in one case it even declares an otherwise unneeded variable
to do that. Switch to using the {platform|pci}_get_drvdata() instead.

Microsoft has a bug with ntlmv2 that requires use of ntlmssp, but
we didn't get the required information on when/how to use ntlmssp to
old (but once very popular) legacy servers (various NT4 fixpacks
for example) until too late to merge for 3.1. Will upgrade
to NTLMv2 in NTLMSSP in 3.2

equivalent to erratum i443 for OMAP3630, so restrict this one to OMAP34xx

The way that we detect which OMAP3 chips support I/O wakeup and
software I/O chain clock control is broken.
Currently, I/O wakeup is marked as present for all OMAP3 SoCs other
than the AM3505/3517. The TI81xx family of SoCs are at present
considered to be OMAP3 SoCs, but don't support I/O wakeup. To resolve
this, convert the existing blacklist approach to an explicit,
whitelist support, in which only SoCs which are known to support I/O
wakeup are listed. (At present, this only includes OMAP34xx,
OMAP3503, OMAP3515, OMAP3525, OMAP3530, and OMAP36xx.)
Also, the current code incorrectly detects the presence of a
software-controllable I/O chain clock on several chips that don't
support it. This results in writes to reserved bitfields, unnecessary
delays, and console messages on kernels running on those chips:

Convert this test to a feature test with a chip-by-chip whitelist.

The context lost count is modified in omap_sram_idle() path when
pwrdm_post_transition() is called. But pwrdm_post_transition() is called
only after omap_gpio_resume_after_idle() is called. Correct this so that
context lost count is modified before calling omap_gpio_resume_after_idle().
This would be useful when OMAP GPIO save/restore context is called by
the OMAP GPIO driver itself.

The goal of this patch is to include more information about the host
environment into the perf.data so it is more self-descriptive. Overtime,
profiles are captured on various machines and it becomes hard to track
what was recorded, on what machine and when.
This patch provides a way to solve this by extending the perf.data file
with basic information about the host machine. To add those extensions,
we leverage the feature bits capabilities of the perf.data format. The
change is backward compatible with existing perf.data files.
We define the following useful new extensions:
- HEADER_HOSTNAME: the hostname
- HEADER_OSRELEASE: the kernel release number
- HEADER_ARCH: the hw architecture
- HEADER_CPUDESC: generic CPU description
- HEADER_NRCPUS: number of online/avail cpus
- HEADER_CMDLINE: perf command line
- HEADER_VERSION: perf version
- HEADER_TOPOLOGY: cpu topology
- HEADER_EVENT_DESC: full event description (attrs)
- HEADER_CPUID: easy-to-parse low level CPU identication
The small granularity for the entries is to make it easier to extend
without breaking backward compatiblity. Many entries are provided as
ASCII strings.
Perf report/script have been modified to print the basic information as
easy-to-parse ASCII strings. Extended information about CPU and NUMA
topology may be requested with the -I option.

When requesting multiple events, say:
# perf top -e instructions -e cycles -e cache-misses
The first screen lets the user chose what to see first, then to switch
one can either use the left key to get back to the event menu or simply
use TAB to go the next and shift+TAB to go the prev.
When using TAB/UNTAB the call to perf_evlist__set_selected(event) was
missing, fix it.

The perf report -n option was broken because it was not reporting the
correct number of samples depending on the sorting mode. By default,
samples are sorted by comm,dso,sym. That means that samples for the same
command (binary) get collapsed.
The hists__collapse_insert_entry() had a bug whereby it was aggregating
the number of events observed (periods) but not the number of samples.
Consequently, the number of samples reported could be below reality. The
percentage remained correct because based on the periods.
This patch fixes the problem by also aggregating the number of samples.
Here is an example:
$ perf report -n --stdio
12.38% 842 pong [kernel.kallsyms] [k] __lock_acquire
Here pong (a ctxsw stress test), is the only program running
and thus it is the only one responsible for the lock_acquire samples.
If we change the sorting mode:
$ perf report -n --stdio --sort=sym
12.38% 1732 [k] __lock_acquire
The actual number of samples is shown.
With the fix:
$ perf report -n --stdio
12.38% 1732 pong [kernel.kallsyms] [k] __lock_acquire

To disable it either:
1. Make sure newt-devel is not installed when building it
2. Use 'perf top --stdio' just like with report
3. Edit your ~/.perfconfig or system wide config and have this there:
[tui]
top = off
But you shouldn't, since the TUI is so much more powerful, has
integration with annotation and where lots more interesting features
will be developed, so if something annoys you (the colors?) just let me
know and I'll do my best to make it pleasant as a default.

This actually fixes several problems we had in the old 'perf top':
1. Unresolved symbols not show, limitation that came from the old
"KernelTop" codebase, to solve it we would need to do changes
that would make sym_entry have most of the hist_entry fields.
2. It was using the number of samples, not the sum of sample->period.
And brings the --sort code that allows us to have all the views in
'perf report', for instance:
