eeb4984542 perf buildid-cache: Add --update option
When adding vmlinux file to build-id cache, it'd be fail since kallsyms
dso with a same build-id was already added by perf record.

So one needs to remove the kallsyms first to add vmlinux into the cache.
Add --update option for doing it at once.

67a88e6390 staging/rtl8192u/ieee80211: Fix buffer overflow in ieee80211_softmac_wx.c
Clang/scan-build complains about a possible buffer overflow in
ieee80211_wx_get_name:

.../staging/rtl8192u/ieee80211/ieee80211_softmac_wx.c:499:3:

.../staging/rtl8192u/ieee80211/ieee80211_softmac_wx.c:497:3:
warning: String copy function overflows destination buffer
	strcat(wrqu->name," linked");

The buffer wrqu->name is only IFNAMSIZ bytes big (currently 16),
so if we have a "802.11b/g/n linked" device we overrun the buffer by 3
bytes.

-> Use strlcopy / strlcat to populate the name.
This is done in a similar fashion in

18e03310b5 USB: usb-storage: unusual_devs update for Super TOP SATA bridge
The current entry in unusual_cypress.h for the Super TOP SATA bridge devices
seems to be causing corruption on newer revisions of this device. This has
been reported in Arch Linux and Fedora. The original patch was tested on
devices with bcdDevice of 1.60, whereas the newer devices report bcdDevice
as 2.20. Limit the UNUSUAL_DEV entry to devices less than 2.20.

c7886b1827 gpio: em: Use irq_domain_add_simple() to fix runtime error
Adjust the gpio-em.c driver to reconsider the pdata->irq_base

9c7b4e8a8a regulator: Fix memory garbage dev_err printout.
commit dd8004af: 'regulator: core: Log when a device causes a voltage

check consumer min/max uV fixup, however, it uses a garbage pointer
left over from list_for_each_entry leading to boot messages in the
form:

'[ 2.079890] <RANDOM ASCII>: Restricting voltage, 3735899821-4294967295uV'

Because it references regulator->dev, it could potentially read memory from

a81252d75e openrisc: fix up vmalloc page table loading
vmalloc'ed pages are faulted into a process' page tables on demand. In
order to facilitate this, do_page_fault needs to know whether it was
called via a page fault exception or a TLB-miss exception.

This patch adds a wrapper around the _x_page_fault_handler entry points
that the TLB-miss exceptions can call into in order to have the relevant
parameter set to satisfy do_page_fault.

This fixes a bug and is "good enough" for now. That said, this whole
handling of vmalloc needs to be audited for correctness at some point.

As near as I can tell, it hasn't seen a run time fix in over a dozen

abf09bed3c s390/mm: implement software dirty bits
The s390 architecture is unique in respect to dirty page detection,
it uses the change bit in the per-page storage key to track page
modifications. All other architectures track dirty bits by means
of page table entries. This property of s390 has caused numerous
problems in the past, e.g. see git commit ef5d437f71
"mm: fix XFS oops due to dirty pages without buffers on s390".

To avoid future issues in regard to per-page dirty bits convert
s390 to a fault based software dirty bit detection mechanism. All
user page table entries which are marked as clean will be hardware
read-only, even if the pte is supposed to be writable. A write by
the user process will trigger a protection fault which will cause
the user pte to be marked as dirty and the hardware read-only bit
is removed.

With this change the dirty bit in the storage key is irrelevant
for Linux as a host, but the storage key is still required for
KVM guests. The effect is that page_test_and_clear_dirty and the
related code can be removed. The referenced bit in the storage
key is still used by the page_test_and_clear_young primitive to
provide page age information.

For page cache pages of mappings with mapping_cap_account_dirty
there will not be any change in behavior as the dirty bit tracking
already uses read-only ptes to control the amount of dirty pages.
Only for swap cache pages and pages of mappings without
mapping_cap_account_dirty there can be additional protection faults.
To avoid an excessive number of additional faults the mk_pte
primitive checks for PageDirty if the pgprot value allows for writes
and pre-dirties the pte. That avoids all additional faults for
tmpfs and shmem pages until these pages are added to the swap cache.

a4e69245bd s390/linker skript: discard exit.data at runtime
Discard exit.data section at run time, not link time, since exit.text
references exit.data and causes this build error:

`.exit.data' referenced in section `.exit.text' of drivers/built-in.o:
defined in discarded section `.exit.data' of drivers/built-in.o

fa364fc41c drivers/media: add missing GENERIC_HARDIRQS dependency
Texas Instruments WL1273 I2C FM Radio (RADIO_WL1273) selects
MFD_CORE, which itself depends on GENERIC_HARDIRQS.
So add the dependency to the TI driver as well.

a1dd7e4ef7 drivers/net,AT91RM9200: add missing GENERIC_HARDIRQS dependency
The AT91RM9200 driver call devm_request_irq() and therefore should
depend on GENERIC_HARDIRQS to prevent link/compile errors on plaforms
without GENERIC_HARDIRQS.

c0048de29d iucv: fix kernel panic at reboot
The iucv base layer is initialized during the registration of the
first iucv handler. If no handler is registered and the
iucv_reboot_event() notifier is called, a missing check can cause
a kernel panic in iucv_block_cpu(). To solve this issue, check the
IRQ masks invoke iucv_block_cpu() for enabled CPUs only.

0e0d04a867 s390/Kconfig: sort list of arch selected config options
Just like on other architectures. The intention is that this will reduce
merge conflicts if new config options get added in sorted order as well.
