284927effa UPSTREAM: mm/damon: add 'age' of region tracepoint support
In Damon, we can get age information by analyzing the nr_access change,
But short time sampling is not effective, we have to obtain enough data
for analysis through long time trace, this also means that we need to
consume more cpu resources and storage space.

Now the region add a new 'age' variable, we only need to get the change of
age value through a little time trace, for example, age has been
increasing to 141, but nr_access shows a value of 0 at the same time,
Through this,we can conclude that the region has a very low nr_access
value for a long time.

3d89e63310 UPSTREAM: mm/damon: hide kernel pointer from tracepoint event
DAMON's virtual address spaces monitoring primitive uses 'struct pid *'
of the target process as its monitoring target id. The kernel address
is exposed as-is to the user space via the DAMON tracepoint,
'damon_aggregated'.

Though primarily only privileged users are allowed to access that, it
would be better to avoid unnecessarily exposing kernel pointers so.
Because the trace result is only required to be able to distinguish each
target, we aren't need to use the pointer as-is.

This makes the tracepoint to use the index of the target in the
context's targets list as its id in the tracepoint, to hide the kernel
space address.

ad6156f833 UPSTREAM: mm/idle_page_tracking: make PG_idle reusable
PG_idle and PG_young allow the two PTE Accessed bit users, Idle Page
Tracking and the reclaim logic concurrently work while not interfering
with each other. That is, when they need to clear the Accessed bit, they
set PG_young to represent the previous state of the bit, respectively.
And when they need to read the bit, if the bit is cleared, they further
read the PG_young to know whether the other has cleared the bit meanwhile
or not.

For yet another user of the PTE Accessed bit, we could add another page
flag, or extend the mechanism to use the flags. For the DAMON usecase,
however, we don't need to do that just yet. IDLE_PAGE_TRACKING and DAMON
are mutually exclusive, so there's only ever going to be one user of the
current set of flags.

In this commit, we split out the CONFIG options to allow for the use of
PG_young and PG_idle outside of idle page tracking.

In the next commit, DAMON's reference implementation of the virtual memory
address space monitoring primitives will use it.

53ff5efb2c ANDROID: PCI/PM: Use usleep_range for d3hot_delay
This patch implements a vendor hook that changes d3hot_delay to use
usleep_range() instead of msleep() to reduce the resume time from
20ms to 10ms.

The call sequence is as follows:
pci_pm_resume_noirq()
pci_pm_default_resume_early()
pci_power_up()
pci_raw_set_power_state() --> msleep(10)

The default d3hot_delay is 10ms. Using msleep for delays less than 20ms
could result in delays up to 20ms.
Reference: Documentation/timers/timers-howto.rst

Using usleep_range() results in the delay being closer to 10ms and this
reduces the resume time.

ac3d413511 ANDROID: vendor_hooks: Reduce pointless modversions CRC churn
When vendor hooks are added to a file that previously didn't have any
vendor hooks, we end up indirectly including linux/tracepoint.h. This
causes some data types that used to be opaque (forward declared) to the
code to become visible to the code.

Modversions correctly catches this change in visibility, but we don't
really care about the data types made visible when linux/tracepoint.h is
included. So, hide this from modversions in the central vendor_hooks.h file
instead of having to fix this on a case by case basis.

This change itself will cause a one time CRC breakage/churn because it's
fixing the existing vendor hook headers, but should reduce unnecessary CRC
churns in the future.

To avoid future pointless CRC churn, vendor hook header files that include
vendor_hooks.h should not include linux/tracepoint.h directly.

20cd51626a BACKPORT: FROMGIT: kasan, page_alloc: allow skipping memory init for HW_TAGS
(Backport: adapt the patch to account for added GFP flags and
 __GFP_BITS_SHIFT definition changes;
 don't try to pack all flags to avoid macro mess.)

Add a new GFP flag __GFP_SKIP_ZERO that allows to skip memory
initialization. The flag is only effective with HW_TAGS KASAN.

This flag will be used by vmalloc code for page_alloc allocations backing
vmalloc() mappings in a following patch. The reason to skip memory
initialization for these pages in page_alloc is because vmalloc code will
be initializing them instead.

With the current implementation, when __GFP_SKIP_ZERO is provided,
__GFP_ZEROTAGS is ignored. This doesn't matter, as these two flags are
never provided at the same time. However, if this is changed in the
future, this particular implementation detail can be changed as well.

f296e18758 erofs: get compression algorithms directly on mapping
Currently, z_erofs_map_blocks_iter() returns whether extents are
compressed or not, and the decompression frontend gets the specific
algorithms then.

It works but not quite well in many aspests, for example:
 - The decompression frontend has to deal with whether extents are
   compressed or not again and lookup the algorithms if compressed.
   It's duplicated and too detailed about the on-disk mapping.

 - A new secondary compression head will be introduced later so that
   each file can have 2 compression algorithms at most for different
   type of data. It could increase the complexity of the decompression
   frontend if still handled in this way;

 - A new readmore decompression strategy will be introduced to get
   better performance for much bigger pcluster and lzma, which needs
   the specific algorithm in advance as well.

Let's look up compression algorithms in z_erofs_map_blocks_iter()
directly instead.

315124b9bc f2fs: multidevice: support direct IO
Commit 3c62be17d4 ("f2fs: support multiple devices") missed
to support direct IO for multiple device feature, this patch
adds to support the missing part of multidevice feature.

In addition, for multiple device image, we should be aware of
any issued direct write IO rather than just buffered write IO,
so that fsync and syncfs can issue a preflush command to the
device where direct write IO goes, to persist user data for
posix compliant.

During the process blk_queue_enter() checks if the queue is not in suspended
state. If so, it waits for the queue to resume, and never comes out of
it. Commit 52abca64fd ("scsi: block: Do not accept any requests while
suspended") adds the check to see if the queue is in suspended state in
blk_queue_enter().

Fix this by registering ufs device wlun as a SCSI driver and registering it
for block runtime-pm. Also make this a supplier for all other LUNs. This
way the wlun device suspends after all the consumers and resumes after HBA
resumes. This also registers a new SCSI driver for rpmb wlun. This new
driver is mostly used to clear rpmb uac.

37ce54fa1f UPSTREAM: scsi: ufs: Add exception event tracepoint
Currently, exception event status can be read from wExceptionEventStatus
attribute (sysfs file attributes/exception_event_status under the UFS host
controller device directory). Polling that attribute to track UFS exception
events is impractical, so add a tracepoint to track exception events for
testing and debugging purposes.

Note, by the time the exception event status is read, the exception event
may have cleared, so the value can be zero - see example below.

Note also, only enabled exception events can be reported. A subsequent
patch adds the ability for users to enable selected exception events via
debugfs.

Example with driver instrumented to enable all exception events:

  # echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/ufs/ufshcd_exception_event/enable

  ... do some I/O ...

761aed4e6d UPSTREAM: scsi: ufs: Use __print_symbolic() for UFS trace string print
__print_symbolic() is designed for exporting the print formatting table to
userspace and allows parsing tool, such as trace-cmd and perf, to analyze
trace log according to this print formatting table, meanwhile, by using
__print_symbolic()s, save space in the trace ring buffer.

original print format:

print fmt: "%s: %s: HDR:%s, CDB:%s", __get_str(str), __get_str(dev_name),
            __print_hex(REC->hdr, sizeof(REC->hdr)),
            __print_hex(REC->tsf, sizeof(REC->tsf))

after this change:

print fmt: "%s: %s: HDR:%s, CDB:%s",
      print_symbolic(REC->str_t, {0, "send"},
                                 {1, "complete"},
                                 {2, "dev_complete"},
                                 {3, "query_send"},
                                 {4, "query_complete"},
                                 {5, "query_complete_err"},
                                 {6, "tm_send"},
                                 {7, "tm_complete"},
                                 {8, "tm_complete_err"}),
      __get_str(dev_name), __print_hex(REC->hdr, sizeof(REC->hdr)),
      __print_hex(REC->tsf, sizeof(REC->tsf))

Note: This patch just converts current __get_str(str) to __print_symbolic(),
      the original tracing log will not be affected by this change, so it
      doesn't break what current parsers expect.

532194fdde UPSTREAM: scsi: ufs: Remove stringize operator '#' restriction
Current EM macro definition, we use stringize operator '#', which turns the
argument it precedes into a quoted string. Thus requires the symbol of
__print_symbolic() should be the string corresponding to the name of the
enum.

However, we have other cases, the symbol and enum name are not the same, we
can redefine EM/EMe, but there will introduce some redundant codes. This
patch is to remove this restriction, let others reuse the current EM/EMe
definition.

c098fbf4cf UPSTREAM: scsi: ufs: Add DeepSleep feature
DeepSleep is a UFS v3.1 feature that achieves the lowest power consumption
of the device, apart from power off.

In DeepSleep mode, no commands are accepted, and the only way to exit is
using a hardware reset or power cycle.

This patch assumes that if a power cycle was an option, then power off
would be preferable, so only exit via a hardware reset is supported.

Drivers that wish to support DeepSleep need to set a new capability flag
UFSHCD_CAP_DEEPSLEEP and provide a hardware reset via the existing
 ->device_reset() callback.

It is assumed that UFS devices with wspecversion >= 0x310 support
DeepSleep.

ca321442a5 ANDROID: scsi: ufs: add complete init vendor hook
Currently the core UFS driver does not have a vops to notify when the
device is operational. This commit introduces a hook, which serves to
notify device completing initialization and is ready to accept I/O.

This is required by the FIPS140-2 [1] self integrity test of inline
encryption engine, which must run whenever the host controller is reset.
The code requires sleeping while waiting for I/O to complete and allocating
some memory dynamically, which requires the vendor hook to be restricted.

d95bf22a4d f2fs: introduce periodic iostat io latency traces
Whenever we notice some sluggish issues on our machines, we are always
curious about how well all types of I/O in the f2fs filesystem are
handled. But, it's hard to get this kind of real data. First of all,
we need to reproduce the issue while turning on the profiling tool like
blktrace, but the issue doesn't happen again easily. Second, with the
intervention of any tools, the overall timing of the issue will be
slightly changed and it sometimes makes us hard to figure it out.

So, I added the feature printing out IO latency statistics tracepoint
events, which are minimal things to understand filesystem's I/O related
behaviors, into F2FS_IOSTAT kernel config. With "iostat_enable" sysfs
node on, we can get this statistics info in a periodic way and it
would cause the least overhead.
