cd5367ae02 cgroup: replace __DEVEL__sane_behavior with cgroup2 fs type
With major controllers - cpu, memory and io - shaping up for the
unified hierarchy, cgroup2 is about ready to be, gradually, released
into the wild. Replace __DEVEL__sane_behavior flag which was used to
select the unified hierarchy with a separate filesystem type "cgroup2"
so that unified hierarchy can be mounted as follows.

  mount -t cgroup2 none $MOUNT_POINT

The cgroup2 fs has its own magic number - 0x63677270 ("cgrp").

v2: Assign a different magic number to cgroup2 fs.

5b3e17679b android: binder: support for file-descriptor arrays.
This patch introduces a new binder_fd_array object,
that allows us to support one or more file descriptors
embedded in a buffer that is scatter-gathered.

34b8f97791 android: binder: support for scatter-gather.
Previously all data passed over binder needed
to be serialized, with the exception of Binder
objects and file descriptors.

This patchs adds support for scatter-gathering raw
memory buffers into a binder transaction, avoiding
the need to first serialize them into a Parcel.

To remain backwards compatibile with existing
binder clients, it introduces two new command
ioctls for this purpose - BC_TRANSACTION_SG and
BC_REPLY_SG. These commands may only be used with
the new binder_transaction_data_sg structure,
which adds a field for the total size of the
buffers we are scatter-gathering.

Because memory buffers may contain pointers to
other buffers, we allow callers to specify
a parent buffer and an offset into it, to indicate
this is a location pointing to the buffer that
we are fixing up. The kernel will then take care
of fixing up the pointer to that buffer as well.

d8e0aca03a android: binder: split flat_binder_object.
flat_binder_object is used for both handling
binder objects and file descriptors, even though
the two are mostly independent. Since we'll
have more fixup objects in binder in the future,
instead of extending flat_binder_object again,
split out file descriptors to their own object
while retaining backwards compatibility to
existing user-space clients. All binder objects
just share a header.

85460b112d net: inet: diag: expose the socket mark to privileged processes.
This adds the capability for a process that has CAP_NET_ADMIN on
a socket to see the socket mark in socket dumps.

Commit a52e95abf7 ("net: diag: allow socket bytecode filters to
match socket marks") recently gave privileged processes the
ability to filter socket dumps based on mark. This patch is
complementary: it ensures that the mark is also passed to
userspace in the socket's netlink attributes. It is useful for
tools like ss which display information about sockets.

65aad0e5be net: diag: allow socket bytecode filters to match socket marks
This allows a privileged process to filter by socket mark when
dumping sockets via INET_DIAG_BY_FAMILY. This is useful on
systems that use mark-based routing such as Android.

The ability to filter socket marks requires CAP_NET_ADMIN, which
is consistent with other privileged operations allowed by the
SOCK_DIAG interface such as the ability to destroy sockets and
the ability to inspect BPF filters attached to packet sockets.

f88503578d cxlflash: Fix to avoid virtual LUN failover failure
[ Upstream commit d5e26bb1d8 ]

Applications which use virtual LUN's that are backed by a physical LUN
over both adapter ports may experience an I/O failure in the event of a
link loss (e.g. cable pull).

Virtual LUNs may be accessed through one or both ports of the adapter.
This access is encoded in the translation entries that comprise the
virtual LUN and used by the AFU for load-balancing I/O and handling
failover scenarios. In a link loss scenario, even though the AFU is able
to maintain connectivity to the LUN, it is up to the application to
retry the failed I/O. When applications are unaware of the virtual LUN's
underlying topology, they are unable to make a sound decision of when to
retry an I/O and therefore are forced to make their reaction to a failed
I/O absolute. The result is either a failure to retry I/O or increased
latency for scenarios where a retry is pointless.

To remedy this scenario, provide feedback back to the application on
virtual LUN creation as to which ports the LUN may be accessed. LUN's
spanning both ports are candidates for a retry in a presence of an I/O
failure.

07dc8fde53 CHROMIUM: videodev2.h: rename reserved2 to config_store in v4l2_buffer.
When queuing buffers allow for passing the configuration store ID that
should be associated with this buffer. Use the 'reserved2' field for this.

932660ce7e CHROMIUM: videodev2.h: add config_store to v4l2_ext_controls
The ctrl_class is fairly pointless when used with drivers that use the control
framework: you can just fill in 0 and it will just work fine. There are still
some old unconverted drivers that do not support 0 and instead want the control
class there. The idea being that all controls in the list all belong to that
class. This was done to simplify drivers in the absence of the control framework.

When using the control framework the framework itself is smart enough to allow
controls of any class to be included in the control list.

Since configuration store IDs are in the range 1..255 (or so, in any case a relatively
small non-zero positive integer) it makes sense to effectively rename ctrl_class
to config_store. Set it to 0 and you get the normal behavior (you change the current
control value), set it to a configuration store ID and you get/set the control for
that store.

1efb79086e perf/core: adding PMU driver specific configuration
It is entirely possible that some PMUs need specific configuration
that is currently not found in the perf options before a session
can be setup.

It is the case for the CoreSight PMU where a sink needs to be
provided. That sink doesn't fall in any of the current perf
options.

As such this patch adds the capability to receive driver
specific configuration using the existing ioctl() mechanism.
Once the configuration has been pushed down the kernel PMU
callbacks are used to deal with the information sent from user
space.

feff85e807 coresight: stm: adding driver for CoreSight STM component
This driver adds support for the STM CoreSight IP block, allowing any
system compoment (HW or SW) to log and aggregate messages via a
single entity.

The CoreSight STM exposes an application defined number of channels
called stimulus port. Configuration is done using entries in sysfs
and channels made available to userspace via configfs.
