Fix oops ocurring at hibernation time. This oops was due to the firmware fault
watchdog timer still running after we freed resources. To fix the issue we need
to terminate the watchdog timer at hibernation time.

Inhibit 0x3117 loginfos - during cable pull, there are too many printks going
to the syslog, this is have impact on how fast the interrupt routine can handle
keeping up with command completions; this was the root cause to the config
pages timeouts.

When a volume is activated, the driver will recieve a pair of ir config change
events to remove the foreign volume, then add the native.
In the process of the removal event, the hidden raid componet is removed from
the parent.When the disks is added back, the adding of the port fails becuase
there is no instance of the device in its parent.
To fix this issue, the driver needs to call mpt2sas_transport_update_links()
prior to calling _scsih_add_device. In addition, we added sanity checks on
volume add and removal to ignore events for foreign volumes.

There is one instance of McASP on DA850/OMAP-L138 SoC. This is
connected to TLV320AIC3106 codec for audio playback and capture.
This patch adds audio support on this platform. Some of the
structure prefix names which are common for DA830/OMAP-L137 EVM and
DA850/OMAP-L138 EVM have been renamed to da8xx from da830.

On DA830/OMAP-L137 and DA850/OMAP-L138 SoCs, the McASP peripheral has FIFO
support. This FIFO provides additional data buffering. It also provides
tolerance to variation in host/DMA controller response times.
The read and write FIFO sizes are 256 bytes each. If FIFO is enabled,
the DMA events from McASP are sent to the FIFO which in turn sends DMA requests
to the host CPU according to the thresholds programmed.

This patch adds support for FIFO configuration. The platform data has a
version field which differentiates the McASP on different SoCs.

The WM8993 analogue control is shared with other devices in the same
product line. Since this is a very substantial proportion of the
driver move the definitions of these controls into a new wm_hubs module
which allows them to be shared between the two.

free_irq() can remove an irqaction while the corresponding interrupt
is in progress, but free_irq() sets action->thread to NULL
unconditionally, which might lead to a NULL pointer dereference in
handle_IRQ_event() when the hard interrupt context tries to wake up
the handler thread.
Prevent this by moving the thread stop after synchronize_irq(). No
need to set action->thread to NULL either as action is going to be
freed anyway.
This fixes a boot crash reported against preempt-rt which uses the
mainline irq threads code to implement full irq threading.

We splice skbs from the pending queue for a TID
onto the local pending queue when tearing down a
block ack request. This is not necessary unless we
actually have received a request to start a block ack
request (rate control, for example). If we never received
that request we should not be splicing the tid pending
queue as it would be null, causing a panic.
Not sure yet how exactly we allowed through a call when the
tid state does not have at least HT_ADDBA_REQUESTED_MSK set,
that will require some further review as it is not quite
obvious.

before this patch ARM had it's own definition of CONFIG_PREEMPT.
Instead of that use the general definition provided in
kernel/Kconfig.preempt.
This patch changes the available options in *config. Namely PREEMPT
isn't a stand alone bool anymore, but part of a 'choice' the
following Kconfig symbols are added:
PREEMPT_NONE
PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY
Selecting PREEMPT_NONE now produces exactly the code as not selecting
PREEMPT before (apart from a comment in
/sys/kernel/debug/tracing/(per_cpu/cpuX/)?trace). The only difference
PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY does is that might_resched might reschedule. Both
should't introduce regressions.

I had to transpose two instructions in arch/arm/lib/bitops.h because
restore_irqs doesn't preserve the flags with CONFIG_TRACE_IRQFLAGS=y

This patch optimizes the irq handling a bit. Now the base register is
only computed once per irq exception instead of at least twice.
Moreover the mov+add sequence is simplified to an ldr (which might save
some cycles depending on memory timing).

kernel_sendpage() does the proper default case handling for when the
socket doesn't have a native sendpage implementation.
Now, arguably this might be something that we could instead solve by
just specifying that all protocols should do it themselves at the
protocol level, but we really only care about the common protocols.
Does anybody really care about sendpage on something like Appletalk? Not
likely.

Dynamically control and control only the needed output amplifier
muting/un-muting.
The original code was muting and un-muting the following output
amplifiers: Earpiece PreDrivL/R, CarkitL/R at the same time
regardless which pin is actually in use at the given moment.
Move these as separate PGA so only the needed amplifier will be touched.

Raw counter mode only works with chainiv, which is no longer
the default IV generator on SMP machines. This broke raw counter
mode as it can no longer instantiate as a givcipher.
This patch fixes it by always picking chainiv on raw counter
mode. This is based on the diagnosis and a patch by Huang
Ying.

a tristate from a bool, which is usually not what is intended.

perf_pending_counter() is called from IRQ context and will call
perf_counter_disable(), however perf_counter_disable() uses
smp_call_function_single() which doesn't fancy being used with
IRQs disabled due to IPI deadlocks.
Fix this by making it use the local __perf_counter_disable()
call and teaching the counter_sched_out() code about pending
disables as well.
This should cover the case where a counter migrates before the
pending queue gets processed.

perf_swcounter_is_counting() uses a lock, which means we cannot
use swcounters from NMI or when holding that particular lock,
this is unintended.
The below removes the lock, this opens up race window, but not
worse than the swcounters already experience due to RCU
traversal of the context in perf_swcounter_ctx_event().
This also fixes the hard lockups while opening a lockdep
tracepoint counter.

According to the function dapm_dac_check_power() in
sound/soc/soc-dapm.c, dac power can't be on/off stand-alone without any
output widget as sink. And according to dapm_adc_check_power(), adc
power can't be on/off stand-alone without any input widget as source. So
we can't only define some stand-alone SND_SOC_DAPM_DAC/SND_SOC_DAPM_ADC
to hope their power can be managed dynamically.

While we can enable the perf sample records per tracepoint
counter, we may also want to enable this option for every
tracepoint counters to open, so that we don't need to add a
:record flag for all of them.
Add the -R, --raw-samples options for this purpose.

Add a new flag field while opening a tracepoint perf counter:
-e tracepoint_subsystem:tracepoint_name:flags
This is intended to be generic although for now it only supports the
r[e[c[o[r[d]]]]] flag:
./perf record -e workqueue:workqueue_insertion:record
./perf record -e workqueue:workqueue_insertion:r
will have the same effect: enabling the raw samples record for
the given tracepoint counter.
In the future, we may want to support further flags, separated
by commas.

Enable line-out detection for IDT/STAC codecs only when speaker pins
exist. In some cases, the speaker itself is identified as line-out,
and this confuses the situation. Only the extra line-outs should do
auto-muting.
