Some regulators have different settling times for voltage increases and
decreases. To avoid a time penalty on the faster transition allow for
different settings for up- and downward transitions.

Some regulators (some PWM regulators) have the voltage transition
non-linear i.e. exponentially. On such cases, the settling time
for voltage transition can not be presented in the voltage-ramp-delay.
Add new property for non-linear voltage transition and handle this
in getting the voltage settling time.

The new op is analogous to set_voltage_time_sel. It can be used by
regulators which don't have a table of discrete voltages. The function
returns the time for the regulator output voltage to stabilize after
being set to a new value, in microseconds. If the op is not set a
default implementation is used to calculate the delay.
This change also removes the ramp_delay calculation in the PWM
regulator, since the driver now uses the core code for the calculation
of the delay.

Export the Speck constants and transform context and the ->setkey(),
->encrypt(), and ->decrypt() functions so that they can be reused by the
ARM NEON implementation of Speck-XTS. The generic key expansion code
will be reused because it is not performance-critical and is not
vectorizable, while the generic encryption and decryption functions are
needed as fallbacks and for the XTS tweak encryption.

Boosted RT tasks can be deboosted quickly, this makes boost usless
for RT tasks and causes lots of glitching. Use timers to prevent
de-boost too soon and wait for long enough such that next enqueue
happens after a threshold.
While this can be solved in the governor, there are following
advantages:
- The approach used is governor-independent
- Reduces boost group lock contention for frequently sleepers/wakers
Note:
Fixed build breakage due to schedfreq dependency which isn't used
for RT anymore.

The current ip_tunnel cache implementation is prone to a race
that will cause the wrong dst to be cached on cuncurrent dst cache
miss and ip tunnel update via netlink.
Replacing with the generic implementation fix the issue.

This adds a void * pointer to gpio_chip so that driver can
assign and retrieve some states. This is done to get rid of
container_of() calls for gpio_chips embedded inside state
containers, so we can remove the need to have the gpio_chip
or later (planned) struct gpio_device be dynamically allocated
at registration time, so that its struct device can be properly
reference counted and not bound to its parent device (e.g.
a platform_device) but instead live on after unregistration
if it is opened by e.g. a char device or sysfs.
The data is added with the new function gpiochip_add_data()
and for compatibility we add static inline wrapper function
gpiochip_add() that will call gpiochip_add_data() with
NULL as argument. The latter will be removed once we have
exorcised gpiochip_add() from the kernel.
gpiochip_get_data() is added as a static inline accessor
for drivers to quickly get their data out.

The name .dev in a struct is normally reserved for a struct device
that is let us say a superclass to the thing described by the struct.
struct gpio_chip stands out by confusingly using a struct device *dev
to point to the parent device (such as a platform_device) that
represents the hardware. As we want to give gpio_chip:s real devices,
this is not working. We need to rename this member to parent.
This was done by two coccinelle scripts, I guess it is possible to
combine them into one, but I don't know such stuff. They look like

Per SD specification physical layer v4.0, section 3.9.4, it
says "UHS-I supports only 4-bit mode. Host shall select 4-bit
mode by ACMD6. However mmc_sd_init_uhs_card() still go ahead
to initialize the cards anyway, whether card or host won't
support 4-bit mode.
This breaks the platforms which only support 1-bit mode but
with a UHS-I card inserted, as all the tuning process is broken
due to this. Alternatively, we should check the return value from
mmc_set_bus_width to see if host could finish the request to switch
the bus with on its side. But that needs more thing to do than this
patch that just bails out early to try to use high speed mode if 4-bit
mode isn't available for whatever reason. And this patch could also
fix the same problem for sdio since R4_18V_PRESENT won't be set for
ocr when mmc_sdio_init_card() finds mmc_host_uhs() is false.
Note that This patch doesn't keep the checking of card->scr.sda_spec3
and comparing card->scr.bus_widths with SD_SCR_BUS_WIDTH_4 within
mmc_sd_init_uhs_card since if the sd cards response with SD_ROCR_S18A,
it definitely support UHS-I mode, which implicitly means these checks
are always true.

When CONFIG_KASAN is enabled, the "--param asan-stack=1" causes rather large
stack frames in some functions. This goes unnoticed normally because
CONFIG_FRAME_WARN is disabled with CONFIG_KASAN by default as of commit

The kernelci.org build bot however has the warning enabled and that led
me to investigate it a little further, as every build produces these warnings:

Most of this problem is now solved in gcc-8, which can consolidate
the stack slots for the inline function arguments. On older compilers
we can add a workaround by declaring a local variable in each function
to pass the inline function argument.

A bug fix to the MSIx handling in vfio added references to functions
that may not be defined if MSI is disabled in the kernel, resulting in
this link error:
drivers/built-in.o: In function `vfio_msi_set_vector_signal':
:(.text+0x450808): undefined reference to `get_cached_msi_msg'
:(.text+0x45080c): undefined reference to `write_msi_msg'
As suggested by Alex Williamson, add stub implementations for
get_cached_msi_msg() and pci_write_msi_msg().
In case this bugfix gets backported, please note that the #ifdef
has changed over time, originally both functions were implemented
in drivers/pci/msi.c and controlled by CONFIG_PCI_MSI, while nowadays
get_cached_msi_msg() is part of the generic MSI support and can be
used without PCI.

By convention, the FIFO address we pass using dmaengine_slave_config
is a physical address in the form that is understood by the DMA
engine, as a dma_addr_t, phys_addr_t or resource_size_t.
The sh_flctl driver however passes a virtual __iomem address that
gets cast to dma_addr_t in the slave driver. This happens to work
on shmobile because that platform sets up an identity mapping for
its MMIO regions, but such code is not portable to other platforms,
and prevents us from ever changing the platform mapping or reusing
the driver on other architectures like ARM64 that might not have the
mapping.
We also get a warning about a type mismatch for the case that
dma_addr_t is wider than a pointer, i.e. when CONFIG_LPAE is set:

not set, which can lead to unused variable warnings:

The macro already ensures that all its other arguments are silently
ignored by the compiler without triggering a warning, through the
use of the no_printk() macro, but the dev argument is not passed into
that.
This changes the definition to use the same trick as no_printk() with
an if(0) that leads the compiler to not evaluate the side-effects but
still see that 'dev' might not be unused.

In some cases the clock parent would be set NULL when doing re-parent,
it will cause a NULL pointer accessing if clk_set trace event is
enabled.
This patch sets the parent as "none" if the input parameter is NULL.
