There is a comment "Set up shemata with 100% allocation on the first run"
in function mbm_setup(), but there is an increment bug and the condition
"num_of_runs == 0" will never be met and write_schemata() will never be
called to set schemata to 100%. Even if write_schemata() is called in MBM
test, since it is not supported for MBM test it does not set the schemata.
This is currently fine because resctrl_val_parm->mum_resctrlfs is always 1
and umount/mount will be run in each test to set the schemata to 100%.
To support the usage when MBM test does not unmount/remount resctrl
filesystem before the test starts, fix to call write_schemata() and
set schemata properly when the function is called for the first time.
Also, remove static local variable 'num_of_runs' because this is not
needed as there is resctrl_val_param->num_of_runs which should be used
instead like in cat_setup().

Use ksft_finished() after running tests so that resctrl_tests doesn't
return exit code 0 when tests fail.
Consequently, report the MBA and MBM tests as skipped when running on
non-Intel hardware, otherwise resctrl_tests will exit with a failure
code.

Commit 1effe8ca4e ("skbuff: fix coalescing for page_pool fragment
recycling") allowed coalescing to proceed with non page pool page and page
pool page when @from is cloned, i.e.
to->pp_recycle --> false
from->pp_recycle --> true
skb_cloned(from) --> true
However, it actually requires skb_cloned(@from) to hold true until
coalescing finishes in this situation. If the other cloned SKB is
released while the merging is in process, from_shinfo->nr_frags will be
set to 0 toward the end of the function, causing the increment of frag
page _refcount to be unexpectedly skipped resulting in inconsistent
reference counts. Later when SKB(@to) is released, it frees the page
directly even though the page pool page is still in use, leading to
use-after-free or double-free errors. So it should be prohibited.
The double-free error message below prompted us to investigate:

udpv6_sendmsg() wants to pretend the remote address family
is AF_INET in order to call udp_sendmsg().
A fix would be to modify the address in-place, instead
of using a local variable, but this could have other side effects.
Instead, restore initial values before we return from udpv6_sendmsg().

The netlink message for creating a new datapath takes an array
of ports for the PID creation. This shouldn't cause much issue
but correct it for future cases where we need to do decode of
datapath information that could include the per-cpu PID map.

Simply adding a "sleep" before checking something is usually not a good
idea because the time that has been picked can not be enough or too
much. The best is to wait for events with a timeout.
In this selftest, 'sleep 0.5' is used more than 40 times. It is always
used before calling a 'verify_*' function except for this
verify_listener_events which has been added later.
At the end, using all these 'sleep 0.5' seems to work: the slow CIs
don't complain so far. Also because it doesn't take too much time, we
can just add two more 'sleep 0.5' to uniform what is done before calling
a 'verify_*' function. For the same reasons, we can also delay a bigger
refactoring to replace all these 'sleep 0.5' by functions waiting for
events instead of waiting for a fix time and hope for the best.

In case of early fallback to TCP, subflow_syn_recv_sock() deletes
the subflow context before returning the newly allocated sock to
the caller.
The fastopen path does not cope with the above unconditionally
dereferencing the subflow context.

If pm_runtime_get() fails in .remove() the driver used to return the
error to the driver core. The only effect of this (compared to returning
zero) is a generic warning that the error value is ignored.
So emit a better warning and return zero to suppress the generic (and
little helpful) message. Also disable runtime PM in the error case.
This prepares changing platform device remove callbacks to return void.

The Cadence I2C controller has an external reset signal that needs to be
de-asserted before the I2C controller can be used.
Add support to the driver to be able to take the peripheral out of reset
using the reset controller API. The reset is optional in the driver for
compatibility to systems where the reset managed by the bootloader.

The Cadence I2C controller has an external reset that needs to be
de-asserted before the I2C controller can be accessed.
Document the `resets` devicetree property that can be used to describe how
the reset signal is connected.
While the reset signal will always be present in hardware the devicetree
property is kept optional for backwards compatibility with existing systems
that do not specify the reset property and where the reset signal might not
be controlled by operating system.

Add support for the I2C units found in the MediaTek MT7981 and MT7988
SoCs. Just like other recent MediaTek I2C units that also uses v3

In polling mode, no stop condition is generated after a timeout. This
causes SCL to remain low and thereby block the bus. If this happens
during a transfer it can cause slaves to misinterpret the subsequent
transfer and return wrong values.
To solve this, pass the ETIMEDOUT error up from ocores_process_polling()
instead of setting STATE_ERROR directly. The caller is adjusted to call
ocores_process_timeout() on error both in polling and in IRQ mode, which
will set STATE_ERROR and generate a stop condition.

Commit bb1520d581 ("s390/mm: start kernel with DAT enabled") did not
implement direct map accounting in the early page table setup code. In
result the reported values are bogus now:

Architectures generally use the "direct map" wording for mapping the whole
physical memory. Use that wording as well in arch/s390/boot/vmem.c, instead
of "one to one" in order to avoid confusion.
This also matches what is already done in arch/s390/mm/vmem.c.

When the KASLR is enabled, randomize the base address of the amode31 image
within the first 2 GB, similar to the approach taken for the vmlinux
image. This makes it harder to predict the location of amode31 data
and code.

Improve the distribution algorithm of random base address to ensure
a uniformity among all suitable addresses. To generate a random value
once, and to build a continuous range in which every value is suitable,
count all the suitable addresses (referred to as positions) that can be
used as a base address. The positions are counted by iterating over the
usable memory ranges. For each range that is big enough to accommodate
the image, count all the suitable addresses where the image can be placed,
while taking reserved memory ranges into consideration.
A new function "iterate_valid_positions()" has dual purpose. Firstly, it
is called to count the positions in a given memory range, and secondly,
to convert a random position back to an address.
"get_random_base()" has been replaced with more generic
"randomize_within_range()" which now could be called for randomizing
base addresses not just for the kernel image.

The special amode31 part of the kernel must always remain below 2Gb. Place
it just under vmlinux.default_lma by default, which makes it easier to
debug amode31 as its default lma is known 0x10000 - 0x3000 (currently,
amode31's size is 3 pages). This location is always available as it is
originally occupied by the vmlinux archive.

The current modification of the default_lma is illogical and should be
avoided. It would be more appropriate to introduce and utilize a new
variable vmlinux_lma instead, so that default_lma remains unchanged and
at its original "default" value of 0x100000.

executable memory. While this is currently true, this will be changed
with a subsequent patch to follow other architectures which implement

Diag 308 subcodes expect a physical address as their parameter.
This currently is not a bug, but in the future physical and virtual
addresses might differ.
Fix the confusion by doing a virtual-to-physical conversion in the
exported diag308() and leave the assembly wrapper __diag308() alone.
Note that several callers pass NULL as addr, so check for the case when
NULL is passed and pass 0 to hardware since virt_to_phys(0) might be
nonzero.

Just like other architectures provide a kaslr_enabled() function, instead
of directly accessing a global variable.
Also pass the renamed __kaslr_enabled variable from the decompressor to the
kernel, so that kalsr_enabled() is available there too. This will be used
by a subsequent patch which randomizes the module base load address.

Commit dfe843dce7 ("s390/checksum: support GENERIC_CSUM, enable it for
KASAN") switched s390 to use the generic checksum functions, so that KASAN
instrumentation also works checksum functions by avoiding architecture
specific inline assemblies.
There is however the problem that the generic csum_partial() function
returns a 32 bit value with a 16 bit folded checksum, while the original
s390 variant does not fold to 16 bit. This in turn causes that the
ipib_checksum in lowcore contains different values depending on kernel
config options.
The ipib_checksum is used by system dumpers to verify if pointers in
lowcore point to valid data. Verification is done by comparing checksum
values. The system dumpers still use 32 bit checksum values which are not
folded, and therefore the checksum verification fails (incorrectly).
Symptom is that reboot after dump does not work anymore when a KASAN
instrumented kernel is dumped.
Fix this by not using the generic checksum implementation. Instead add an
explicit kasan_check_read() so that KASAN knows about the read access from
within the inline assembly.
