0f80bfbf49 perf scripts python: intel-pt-events.py: Fix printing of switch events
The intel-pt-events.py script displays only the last of consecutive switch
statements but that may not be the last switch event for the CPU. Fix by
keeping a dictionary of last context switch keyed by CPU, and make it
possible to see all switch events by adding option --all-switch-events.

9f3c16a430 perf expr: Fix return value of ids__new()
callers of ids__new() function only do NULL checking for the return
value. ids__new() calles hashmap__new(), which may return
ERR_PTR(-ENOMEM).

Instead of changing the checking one-by-one return NULL instead of
ERR_PTR(-ENOMEM) to keep it consistent.

17f18417d6 ACPI: sysfs: use default_groups in kobj_type
There are currently 2 ways to create a set of sysfs files for a
kobj_type, through the default_attrs field, and the default_groups
field.  Move the ACPI sysfs code to use default_groups field which has
been the preferred way since aa30f47cf6 ("kobject: Add support for
default attribute groups to kobj_type") so that we can soon get rid of
the obsolete default_attrs field.

1e81dcc1ab igc: Do not enable crosstimestamping for i225-V models
It was reported that when PCIe PTM is enabled, some lockups could
be observed with some integrated i225-V models.

While the issue is investigated, we can disable crosstimestamp for
those models and see no loss of functionality, because those models
don't have any support for time synchronization.

eb0089d629 io_uring: single shot poll removal optimisation
We don't need to poll oneshot request if we've got a desired mask in
io_poll_wake(), task_work will clean it up correctly, but as we already
hold a wq spinlock, we can remove ourselves and save on additional
spinlocking in io_poll_remove_entries().

aa43477b04 io_uring: poll rework
It's not possible to go forward with the current state of io_uring
polling, we need a more straightforward and easier synchronisation.
There are a lot of problems with how it is at the moment, including
missing events on rewait.

The main idea here is to introduce a notion of request ownership while
polling, no one but the owner can modify any part but ->poll_refs of
struct io_kiocb, that grants us protection against all sorts of races.

Main users of such exclusivity are poll task_work handler, so before
queueing a tw one should have/acquire ownership, which will be handed
off to the tw handler.
The other user is __io_arm_poll_handler() do initial poll arming. It
starts taking the ownership, so tw handlers won't be run until it's
released later in the function after vfs_poll. note: also prevents
races in __io_queue_proc().
Poll wake/etc. may not be able to get ownership, then they need to
increase the poll refcount and the task_work should notice it and retry
if necessary, see io_poll_check_events().
There is also IO_POLL_CANCEL_FLAG flag to notify that we want to kill
request.

It makes cancellations more reliable, enables double multishot polling,
fixes double poll rewait, fixes missing poll events and fixes another
bunch of races.

Even though it adds some overhead for new refcounting, and there are a
couple of nice performance wins:
- no req->refs refcounting for poll requests anymore
- if the data is already there (once measured for some test to be 1-2%
  of all apoll requests), it removes it doesn't add atomics and removes
  spin_lock/unlock pair.
- works well with multishots, we don't do remove from queue / add to
  queue for each new poll event.

ab1dab960b io_uring: kill poll linking optimisation
With IORING_FEAT_FAST_POLL in place, io_put_req_find_next() for poll
requests doesn't make much sense, and in any case re-adding it
shouldn't be a problem considering batching in tctx_task_work(). We can
remove it.

dcb95f06ea e1000: switch to napi_consume_skb()
In order to take the best from per-cpu NAPI skbuff_head caches and
CPU cycles, let's switch from dev_kfree_skb_any(), which passes skb
back to the mm layer, to napi_consume_skb(), which feeds those
caches on non-zero budget instead (falls back to the former on 0).
Do the replacement in e1000_unmap_and_free_tx_resource(). There are
4 call sites of this function throughout the driver:
 * e1000_clean_tx_ring(). Slowpath, process context, cleans the
   whole Tx ring on ifdown. Use budget of 0 here;
 * e1000_tx_map(). Hotpath, net Tx softirq, unmaps the buffers in
   case of error. Use 0 as well;
 * e1000_clean_tx_irq(). Hotpath, NAPI Tx completion polling cycle.
   As the driver doesn't count completed Tx entries towards the NAPI
   budget, just use the poll budget of 64 to utilize caches.

Apart from being a preparation for switching to napi_build_skb(),
this is useful on its own as well, as napi_consume_skb() flushes
skb caches by batches of 32 instead of one-at-a-time.

e5e8b2246f mmc: mtk-sd: Assign src_clk parent to src_clk_cg for legacy DTs
In commit 3c1a884436 ("mmc: mediatek: add support of source_cg clock")
an independent cg was introduced to avoid a hardware hang issue during
clock mode switches (subsequent commits will set that clock as optional).

When this clock is not present in device-tree, any operation is being
done on src_clk's parent (calling clk_get_parent()): to simplify this
and avoid checking for src_clk_cg presence everytime, just assign the
parent clock to src_clk_cg and remove the now useless checks.

If we get an error during probe of an optional clock with function

83b2721715 mmc: mtk-sd: Take action for no-sdio device-tree parameter
This driver was unconditionally enabling support for SDIO mode,
but we do have a generic "no-sdio" DT parameter that sets caps2
MMC_CAP2_NO_SDIO.

Modify the HW initialization sequence to enable SDIO support only
if it hasn't been explicitly disabled in device-tree.

close(2) and cdc_handle triggered by underlaying RDMA device.

The race is caused because the smc_connection may been released
before the pending tx CDC messages got its CQEs. In order to fix
this, I add a counter to track how many pending WRs we have posted
through the smc_connection, and only release the smc_connection
after there is no pending WRs on the connection.

The first patch prevents posting WR on a QP that is not in RTS
state. This patch is needed because if we post WR on a QP that
is not in RTS state, ib_post_send() may success but no CQE will
return, and that will confuse the counter tracking the pending
WRs.

The second patch add a counter to track how many WRs were posted
through the smc_connection, and don't reset the QP on link destroying
to prevent leak of the counter.

Though smc_cdc_tx_handler() checked the existence of smc connection,
smc_release() may have already dismissed and released the smc socket
before smc_cdc_tx_handler() further visits it.

To make sure we won't receive any CDC messages after we free the
smc_sock, add a refcount on the smc_connection for inflight CDC
message(posted to the QP but haven't received related CQE), and
don't release the smc_connection until all the inflight CDC messages
haven been done, for both success or failed ones.

Using refcount on CDC messages brings another problem: when the link
is going to be destroyed, smcr_link_clear() will reset the QP, which
then remove all the pending CQEs related to the QP in the CQ. To make
sure all the CQEs will always come back so the refcount on the
smc_connection can always reach 0, smc_ib_modify_qp_reset() was replaced
by smc_ib_modify_qp_error().
And remove the timeout in smc_wr_tx_wait_no_pending_sends() since we
need to wait for all pending WQEs done, or we may encounter use-after-
free when handling CQEs.

For IB device removal routine, we need to wait for all the QPs on that
device been destroyed before we can destroy CQs on the device, or
the refcount on smc_connection won't reach 0 and smc_sock cannot be
released.

90cee52f2e net/smc: don't send CDC/LLC message if link not ready
We found smc_llc_send_link_delete_all() sometimes wait
for 2s timeout when testing with RDMA link up/down.
It is possible when a smc_link is in ACTIVATING state,
the underlaying QP is still in RESET or RTR state, which
cannot send any messages out.

smc_llc_send_link_delete_all() use smc_link_usable() to
checks whether the link is usable, if the QP is still in
RESET or RTR state, but the smc_link is in ACTIVATING, this
LLC message will always fail without any CQE entering the
CQ, and we will always wait 2s before timeout.

Since we cannot send any messages through the QP before
the QP enter RTS. I add a wrapper smc_link_sendable()
which checks the state of QP along with the link state.
And replace smc_link_usable() with smc_link_sendable()
in all LLC & CDC message sending routine.
