ANDROID: GKI: Create symbol files in include/config
Create input symbol files to generate GKI modules header
under include/config. By placing files in this generated
directory, the default filters that ignore certain files
will work without any special handling required, and they
will also be available to inspect after the build to inspect
for the debugging purposes.

ANDROID: GKI: Remove temp build file abi_gki_protected_exports
abi_gki_protected_exports is a prepped list of symbols protected from being exported by unsigned modules; and input to generate gki_module_protected_exports.h during kernel build. Delete it once header is generated so it is not lingering in the source when kernel sournce is being built in-place i.e. OBJ is not set during the build. BACKPORT: arm64: unwind: add asynchronous unwind tables to kernel and modules
Enable asynchronous unwind table generation for both the core kernel as
well as modules, and emit the resulting .eh_frame sections as init code
so we can use the unwind directives for code patching at boot or module
load time.
This will be used by dynamic shadow call stack support, which will rely
on code patching rather than compiler codegen to emit the shadow call
stack push and pop instructions.

ANDROID: GKI: gen_gki_modules_headers update preprocessing
Since we do not enforce symbol lists to be generated using the ABI tooling; it is possible to have the symbol list updates with CRLF characters at the end of a line, leading and trailining white spaces based on how they are manually edited. The header generation script fails in this case when it parses these symbols with CRLF or sorting order may not be correct for symbols with trailing white spaces. Update the preprocessing of the symbol list to remove any carriage returns, strip any leading and trailing white spaces in addition to the other preprocessing. ANDROID: GKI: Multi arch exports protection support
ABI is being implemented for x86_64, making it necessary to support protected exports header file generation for the GKI modules for multiple architecture. Enable support to select required inputs based on the ARCH to generate gki_module_protected_exports.h during kernel build. ANDROID: modpost: Don't complain about empty non-allocatable ELF sections
Depending upon the toolchain, empty ELF sections in the object files of a hypervisor module can be emitted with unusual flags such as "Writeable, non-allocatable" which modpost gets grumpy about: | WARNING: modpost: drivers/misc/pkvm-pl011/pkvm_pl011.o (.hyp.rodata): unexpected non-allocatable section. Since these sections are empty, whether or not they are allocatable is not of any concern to the module loader, so adjust the check in modpost to quietly tolerate this insanity. ANDROID: GKI: Fix copying of protected_exports
When building gki_defconfig outside of the Android build system, copying
protected_exports fails:
$ make -skj"$(nproc)" LLVM=1 O=build gki_defconfig all
cp: cannot create regular file '/protected_exports': Permission denied
...
OUT_DIR is an Android build.sh specific variable, so it will not be
defined when using just kbuild. Use objtree instead, which is guaranteed
to be available through kbuild directly; OUT_DIR is passed to make via
O, which is used to ultimately define objtree, so there is no functional
change.

Header generation script is using the protected exports list as a source to generate the header file during the kernel build. Script preporcess the symbols in-place before using it to generate an array of symbols for protected exports causing the source file to change. This may force the kleaf to build kernel again even though there are no real changes in terms of symbols. Use a copy as a temp file for processing leaving the source file un affected. Unprotected symbol list is already a temp file; so it doesn't affect that target. scripts/gen_gki_modules_headers.sh:
Add an option to only keep unique symbols during the
symbol list prep phase as for header generation symbol
list needs to be unique union of all vendor symbol
lists in an ascending order.
This reduces the array size and improves the lookup
time for the binary search.

ANDROID: GKI: Header generation fix and improvements
Remove dependency on kleaf intermediate abi_symbollist.raw and use vendor symbol lists as dependencies for header generation targets. This prevents the feature to break in case kleaf path and/or sandboxes changes and rebuilds the header files if any vendor symbol list changes. Update the header generation script to process the symbol lists before generating headers to make sure symbols are in byte order, any symbol list marker, whitespaces and emptylines are removed for kernel binary search API. ANDROID: fips140: allow building without LTO
Following "ANDROID: fips140: eliminate crypto-fips.a build step", the only remaining dependency on LTO is the fact that the part of the module linker script that merges the text and rodata sections and adds some symbols is guarded by '#ifdef CONFIG_LTO_CLANG'. This doesn't actually need to be the case, though. So guard it by alternatively IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD). Then, remove the dependency of CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD on LTO_CLANG. (Note: the android14-6.1 kernel currently has LTO disabled, which is part of the motivation for this change. I don't know whether it will stay that way, though.) ANDROID: fips140: require 'm' to enable CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD
CONFIG_CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD builds a loadable kernel module when set to 'y'. That's very unusual, as it doesn't follow the convention of loadable modules being 'm'. I'm guessing that the reason that a bool was used instead of a tristate is because this functionality is not supported built-in, so there are only two allowed settings: disabled or modular. However, there's actually a way to express that in the kconfig language: a tristate that depends on 'm'. Let's do it that way. This also eliminates the need to explicitly depend on MODULES. (Note: I decided to keep MOD in the name, since the word "module" in "FIPS 140 cryptographic module" is a different meaning of "module", and I didn't want to bother renaming CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD_EVAL_TESTING too.) ANDROID: fips140: remove CONFIG_CRYPTO_FIPS140 option
There is no good reason for the CRYPTO_FIPS140 kconfig option to exist separately from CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD. It existed mainly to guard some code in the module loader that was needed only for loading the fips140 module. However, that code has been removed, since an alternate solution that doesn't require changes to the module loader was found. The remaining references to CRYPTO_FIPS140 are in: - scripts/module.lds.S. But the guarded code only affects building the fips140 module, so CRYPTO_FIPS140_MOD should be used here instead. - lib/crypto/, for guarding the Android vendor hooks required by the fips140 module. However, Android vendor hooks are already guarded by ANDROID_VENDOR_HOOKS. The extra guard by CRYPTO_FIPS140 isn't useful, especially since CRYPTO_FIPS140 was effectively hardcoded to y anyway. It did have the side effect of making the hooks be guarded by arm64, which excluded them from builds of arch/x86/purgatory/. However, a cleaner way to accomplish that is to check for __DISABLE_EXPORTS, which handles both arch/x86/purgatory/ and fips140.ko itself. ANDROID: fips140: consolidate linker script changes into module.lds.S
The customizations to the module linker script required by the fips140 module are currently split between scripts/module.lds.S and a file it includes, arch/arm64/include/asm/module.lds.h. There isn't actually anything architecture-specific about the part that was put into the architecture-specific file, though. Let's move that part into scripts/module.lds.S so that the fips140 changes are in the same file. ANDROID: GKI: Add module load time symbol protection
Add CONFIG_MODULE_SIG_PROTECT to enable lookup for the unprotected symbols from the build time generated list of symbols. Module loading behavior will change as follows: - Allows Android GKI Modules signed using MODULE_SIG_ALL during build. - Allows other modules to load if they don't violate the access to Android GKI protected symbols. Loading will fail and return -EACCES (Permission denied) if these modules access the symbol which is not allowlisted via symbol list or exported by a GKI module.
