This changes module_platform_driver_probe() to module_platform_driver()
in the TI DaVinci MMC driver.
On device tree systems, we can get a -EPROBE_DEFER when using a pinmux
for the CD GPIO, which results in the driver never loading because
module_platform_driver_probe() prevents it from being re-probed.
So, we replace module_platform_driver_probe() with
module_platform_driver() and removed the __init attributes accordingly.

As the clock handling is now done elsewhere, this is only used when
power management is enabled. We could make the functions as __maybe_unused,
but since there is already an #ifdef section, it seems easier to move
the helpers closer to their callers.

So far, the caller of mlxsw_afa_block_append_counter needed to allocate
counter index by hand. Benefit from the previously introduced resource
infra and counter_index_get/put callbacks, and allocate the counter
index in place where it is needed, inside the action append function.

Since the resource list needs to be used also for other entries different
to fwd_entry_ref, make the list generic. For that purpose, introduce a
resource structure with couple of helpers that the code which need to
store a per-block resource should use.

The detailed reset sequence ensures all HW components are in aligned

Driver contained a dead code of maintaining multiple pci port instances.
That will never be used since for each pci function a separate NIC
instance is created.
Simplify this, making pci module only responsible for pci resource
management.
NIC initialization is also simplified accordingly.

A number of new AQC devices is going to be released. To support more
flexible capabilities management a number of static caps instances is now
declared. Devices now are mainly differs by supported speeds, but in future
more parameters will be customized. A set of AQC100 devices have
fibre media, not twisted pair - this is also reflected in
new capabilities definitions.
HW level also now directly exports hw_ops for each of A0/B0 hardware.
PCI configuration now uses a device configuration table where each
device ID is explicitly mapped with hardware OPs and capabilities
structures.

New set of aquantia devices has an upgraded hardware (B1).
The hardware interface is identical to B0. The difference will
be in firmware which is incompatible with old one.

Previously it was possible to interrupt processing stats updates because
they were handled in a work queue. Interrupting the stats updates could
lead to a situation where we backup the control message queue. This patch
moves the stats update processing out of the work queue to be processed as
soon as hardware sends a request.

Helmut reported a bug about division by zero while
running traffic and doing physical cable pull test.
When the cable unplugged the ppms become zero, so when
dividing the current ppms by the previous ppms in the
next dim iteration there is division by zero.
This patch prevent this division for both ppms and epms.

The zeroday builder notices that since Usermode Linux does not
have IO memory, the build fails for them when selecting everything
it can enable.
As the driver is clearly using memory-mapped registers to access
the network adapter, we add depends on HAS_IOMEM to solve this
problem.

Commit 6341e62b21 ("kconfig: use bool instead of boolean for type
definition attributes") did treewide replacement of 'boolean', and
also mentioned the keyword 'boolean' would be dropped later on.
Some years have passed, but it has not happened yet. Meanwhile, some
new instances have come up.
I am really going to drop this keyword. I need to do the replacement
once again.

The __memzero assembly code is almost identical to memset's except for
two orr instructions. The runtime performance of __memset(p, n) and
memset(p, 0, n) is accordingly almost identical.
However, the memset() macro used to guard against a zero length and to
call __memzero at compile time when the fill value is a constant zero
interferes with compiler optimizations.
Arnd found tha the test against a zero length brings up some new
warnings with gcc v8:

And successively rremoving the test against a zero length and the call
to __memzero optimization produces the following kernel sizes for

According to all published information, the watchdog disable bit for SB800
compatible controllers is bit 1 of PM register 0x48, not bit 2. For the
most part that doesn't matter in practice, since the bit has to be cleared
to enable watchdog address decoding, which is the default setting, but it
still needs to be fixed.

commit 4cd13c21b2 ("softirq: Let ksoftirqd do its job") has the
effect of deferring timer handling in case of high CPU load, hence
delaying the delayed work allthought the worker is running which
high realtime priority.
As hrtimers are not managed by softirqs, this patch replaces the
delayed work by a plain work and uses an hrtimer to schedule that work.

If the watchdog hardware is enabled/running during boot, e.g.
due to a boot loader configuring it, we must tell the
watchdog framework about this fact so that it can ping the
watchdog until userspace opens the device and takes over
control.
Do so using the WDOG_HW_RUNNING flag that exists for exactly
that use-case.
Given the watchdog driver core doesn't know what timeout was
originally set by whoever started the watchdog (boot loader),
we make sure to update the timeout in the hardware according
to what the watchdog core thinks it is.

When the watchdog device is suspended, its timeout is set to the maximum
value. During resume, the previously set timeout should be restored.
This does not work at the moment.
The suspend function calls
imx2_wdt_set_timeout(wdog, IMX2_WDT_MAX_TIME);
and resume reverts this by calling
imx2_wdt_set_timeout(wdog, wdog->timeout);
However, imx2_wdt_set_timeout() updates wdog->timeout. Therefore,
wdog->timeout is set to IMX2_WDT_MAX_TIME when we enter the resume
function.
Fix this by adding a new function __imx2_wdt_set_timeout() which
only updates the hardware settings. imx2_wdt_set_timeout() now calls
__imx2_wdt_set_timeout() and then saves the new timeout to
wdog->timeout.
During suspend, we call __imx2_wdt_set_timeout() directly so that
wdog->timeout won't be updated and we can restore the previous value
during resume. This approach makes wdog->timeout different from the
actual setting in the hardware which is usually not a good thing.
However, the two differ only while we're suspended and no kernel code is
running, so it should be ok in this case.

rpadlpar_core.c: Provide parallel routines to search the older device-
tree properties ("ibm,drc-indexes", "ibm,drc-names", "ibm,drc-types"
and "ibm,drc-power-domains"), or the new property "ibm,drc-info".
The interface to examine the DRC information is changed from a "get"
function that returns values for local verification elsewhere, to a
"check" function that validates the 'name' and/or 'type' of a device
node. This update hides the format of the underlying device-tree
properties, and concentrates the value checks into a single function
without requiring the user to verify whether a search was successful.

The function marvell_nfc_init_dma() allocates a DMA buffer without the
GFP_KERNEL modifier, that triggers this warning:
"marvell_nfc_init_dma() error: no modifiers for allocation."
Fix this by using (GFP_KERNEL | GFP_DMA) instead of only GFP_DMA as the
probe happens in non-interrupt context.
