The code was using the src size when formatting the dst. They are almost
certainly the same value but it reads wrong.

In case that the PathRecord is not valid (SM changed its network prefix)
ipoib will continue issue PathQuery requests with the same parameters
that are in its database, which are no longer valid anymore.
Now the driver in that case will re-initialize the record from a valid
place (the priv structure keeps the updated values), and a valid request
will be issued.

The ipoib path database is organized around DGIDs from the LLADDR, but the
SA is free to return a different GID when asked for path. This causes a
bug because the SA's modified DGID is copied into the database key, even
though it is no longer the correct lookup key, causing a memory leak and
other malfunctions.
Ensure the database key does not change after the SA query completes.
Demonstration of the bug is as follows
ipoib wants to send to GID fe80:0000:0000:0000:0002:c903:00ef:5ee2, it
creates new record in the DB with that gid as a key, and issues a new
request to the SM.
Now, the SM from some reason returns path-record with other SGID (for
example, 2001:0000:0000:0000:0002:c903:00ef:5ee2 that contains the local
subnet prefix) now ipoib will overwrite the current entry with the new
one, and if new request to the original GID arrives ipoib will not find
it in the DB (was overwritten) and will create new record that in its
turn will also be overwritten by the response from the SM, and so on
till the driver eats all the device memory.

Commit caa4b02476e3(blk-map: call blk_queue_bounce from blk_rq_append_bio)
moves blk_queue_bounce() into blk_rq_append_bio(), but don't consider
the fact that the bounced bio becomes invisible to caller since the
parameter type is 'struct bio *'. Make it a pointer to a pointer to
a bio, so the caller sees the right bio also after a bounce.

RoCEv1 does not use the IPv6 stack to resolve the link local DGID since it
uses GID address. It forms the DMAC directly from the DGID.
The code became confused and also tried to use this bypass for RoCEv2
packets, however RoCEv2 always uses a IP address in the GID and must
always use ARP or neighbor discovery to get the DMAC address.
Now that rdma_addr_find_l2_eth_by_grh() supports resolving link local
address to find destination mac address, lets make use of it.
This aligns it to how the rest of the IPv6 stack resolves link local
destination IPv6 address.

When computing a UD reverse path (return AH) from a WC the code was not
doing a route lookup anchored in a specific netdevice. This caused several
bugs, including broken IPv6 link-local address support in RoCEv2. [1]
This fixes the lookup by determining the GID table entry that the HW
matched to the SGID for the WC and then using the netdevice from that
entry to perform the route and ND lookup for the 'DGID' to build a return
AH.
RoCE GID table management ensures that right upper netdevices of the
physical netdevices are added. Therefore init_ah_from_wc doesn't need to
perform such check.
Now that route lookup is done based on the netdevice of the GID entry,
simplify code to not have ifindex and vlan pointers. As part of that,
refactor to have netdevice as input parameter. This is already discussed
at [2].
Finally ib_init_ah_from_wc resolves dmac for unicast GID in similar way as
what ib_resolve_eth_dmac() does. So ib_resolve_eth_dmac is refactored to
split for unicast and non unicast GIDs, so that it can be reused by
ib_init_ah_from_wc.
While we are at refactoring ib_resolve_eth_dmac(), it is further
simplified
(a) to avoid hoplimit as optional parameter, as there is only one
user who always queries hoplimit.
(b) for empty line.
(c) avoided zero initialization of ret.
(d) removed as exported symbol as only ib core uses it.
For IPv6, this is tested using simple rping test as below.

This is code existed for when drivers would send less than the whole
buffer; no driver does this any more, so this is redundant. Drivers

The semantics for lirc IR transmit with raw IR is that the write call
should block until the IR is transmitted. Some drivers have no idea
when this actually is (e.g. mceusb), so there is a wait.
This is useful for userspace, as it might want to send a IR button press,
a gap of a predefined number of milliseconds, and then send a repeat
message.
It turns out that for transmitting scancodes this feature is even more
useful, as user space has no idea how long the IR is. So, maintain
the existing semantics for IR scancode transmit.

Another device with the 0xffdc device id, this one with 0x26 in the
config byte. Its an iMON Inside + iMON IR. It does respond to rc-6,
but seems to produce random garbage rather than a scancode.

Driver calls request_firmware() whenever the device is opened for the
first time. As the device gets opened and closed, dev->num_inst == 1
is true several times. This is not necessary since the firmware is saved
in the fw_buf. s5p_mfc_load_firmware() copies the buffer returned by
the request_firmware() to dev->fw_buf.
fw_buf sticks around until it gets released from s5p_mfc_remove(), hence
there is no need to keep requesting firmware and copying it to fw_buf.
This might have been overlooked when changes are made to free fw_buf from
the device release interface s5p_mfc_release().
Fix s5p_mfc_load_firmware() to call request_firmware() once and keep state.
Change _probe() to load firmware once fw_buf has been allocated.
s5p_mfc_open() and it continues to call s5p_mfc_load_firmware() and init
hardware which is the step where firmware is written to the device.
This addresses the mfc_mutex contention due to repeated request_firmware()
calls from open() in the following circular locking warning:

s5p_mfc_load_firmware() will not get called if fw_buf.virt allocation
fails. The allocation happens very early on in the probe routine and
probe fails if allocation fails.
There is no need to check if it is null in s5p_mfc_load_firmware().

We copy the subdev frame format from a partially initialized
structure, which is not entirely well-defined. Older compilers
like gcc-4.4 can copy uninitialized stack data here and warn

Observed on the 88e1512 in SGMII-to-Copper mode, negotiating pause
is unreliable. While the pause bits can be set in the advertisment
register, they clear shortly after negotiation with a link partner
commences irrespective of the cause of the negotiation.
While these bits may be correctly conveyed to the link partner on the
first negotiation, a subsequent negotiation (eg, due to negotiation
restart by the link partner, or reconnection of the cable) will result
in the link partner seeing these bits as zero, while the kernel
believes that it has advertised pause modes.
This leads to the local kernel evaluating (eg) symmetric pause mode,
while the remote end evaluates that we have no pause mode capability.
Since we can't guarantee the advertisment, disable pause mode support
with this PHY when used in SGMII-to-Copper mode.
The 88e1510 in RGMII-to-Copper mode appears to behave correctly.

Currently videobuf2-dma-sg checks for dma direction for
every single page and videobuf2-dc lacks any dma direction
checks and calls set_page_dirty_lock unconditionally.
Thus unify and align the invocations of set_page_dirty_lock
for videobuf2-dc, videobuf2-sg memory allocators with
videobuf2-vmalloc, i.e. the pattern used in vmalloc has been
copied to dc and dma-sg.

The pvrusb2 code appears to have a some old workaround code for xawtv that causes a
WARN() due to an unrecognized pixelformat 0 in v4l2_ioctl.c.
Since all other MPEG drivers fill this in correctly, it is a safe assumption that
this particular problem no longer exists.
While I'm at it, clean up the code a bit.

V4L2_BUF_FLAG_LAST is a signal from the driver to userspace for buffers
on the capture queue. When userspace queues back a capture buffer with
the flag set, we should clear it.
Otherwise, if userspace restarts streaming after EOS, without
reallocating the buffers, mem2mem devices will erroneously signal EOS
prematurely, as soon as the already flagged buffer is dequeued.

The MPEG-4 decoder mvcol buffer was registered, but its size not added
to a frame buffer allocation. This could cause the decoder to write past
the end of the allocated buffer for large frame sizes.

Since bytesperline always fulfills VDOA width requirements, detile the
whole buffer instead of limiting to visible width. This stops TRY_FMT
from returning -EINVAL for YUYV capture buffers that are not a multiple
of 16 wide.
An alternative would be to always round up width to stride, as we report
the valid image rectange via G_SELECTION (V4L2_SEL_TGT_COMPOSE_DEFAULT),
but that would require all applications to handle the compose default
rectangle properly.

The current driver implementation expects at least one buffer on
all queues to start streaming. Properly signal this to the vb2
core, to avoid confusion when streamon is racing with qbuf.

Use ASSERT_RTNL() rather than WARN_ON(!lockdep_rtnl_is_held()) which
stops working when lockdep fires, and we end up with lots of warnings.

The EEPROM reading was trying to read from the second EEPROM address
if we requested the last byte from the SFF8079 EEPROM, which caused a
failure when the second EEPROM is not present. Discovered with a
S-RJ01 SFP module. Fix this.

The detection of a PHY changed in commit e98a3aabf8 ("mdio_bus: don't
return NULL from mdiobus_scan()") which now causes sfp to print an
error message. Update for this change.

pxa_camera_probe() was not calling pxa_camera_deactivate(),
responsible to call clk_disable_unprepare(), on the failure path. This
was leading to unbalancing source clock.
Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org).
