e416531f04 net: hyperv: remove use of bpf_op_t
Following patch will hide that typedef. There seems to be
no strong reason for hyperv to use it, so let's not.

e8bd70250a prestera: acl: add action hw_stats support
Currently, when user adds a tc action and the action gets offloaded,
the user expects the HW stats to be counted also. This limits the
amount of supported offloaded filters, as HW counter resources may
be quite limited. Without counter assigned, the HW is capable to
carry much more filters.

To resolve the issue above, the following types of HW stats are
offloaded and supported by the driver:

any - current default, user does not care about the type.
delayed - polled from HW periodically.
disabled - no HW stats needed.
immediate - not supported.

Example:
  tc filter add dev PORT ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x11 \
    action drop
  tc filter add dev PORT ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x12 \
    action drop hw_stats disabled
  tc filter add dev sw1p1 ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x14 \
    action drop hw_stats delayed

a5b116a0fa net: wan: remove the lanmedia (lmc) driver
The driver for LAN Media WAN interfaces spews build warnings on
microblaze. The virt_to_bus() calls discard the volatile keyword.
The right thing to do would be to migrate this driver to a modern
DMA API but it seems unlikely anyone is actually using it.
There had been no fixes or functional changes here since
the git era begun.

Let's remove this driver, there isn't much changing in the APIs,
if users come forward we can apologize and revert.

33fc42de33 net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: support creating mac address based offload entries
This will be used to implement a limited form of bridge offloading.
Since the hardware does not support flow table entries with just source
and destination MAC address, the driver has to emulate it.

The hardware automatically creates entries entries for incoming flows, even
when they are bridged instead of routed, and reports when packets for these
flows have reached the minimum PPS rate for offloading.

After this happens, we look up the L2 flow offload entry based on the MAC
header and fill in the output routing information in the flow table.
The dynamically created per-flow entries are automatically removed when
either the hardware flowtable entry expires, is replaced, or if the offload
rule they belong to is removed

c4f033d9e0 net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: rework hardware flow table management
The hardware was designed to handle flow detection and creation of flow entries
by itself, relying on the software primarily for filling in egress routing
information.
When there is a hash collision between multiple flows, this allows the hardware
to maintain the entry for the most active flow.
Additionally, the hardware only keeps offloading active for entries with at
least 30 packets per second.

With this rework, the code no longer creates a hardware entries directly.
Instead, the hardware entry is only created when the PPE reports a matching
unbound flow with the minimum target rate.
In order to reduce CPU overhead, looking for flows belonging to a hash entry
is rate limited to once every 100ms.

This rework is also used as preparation for emulating bridge offload by
managing L4 offload entries on demand.

804775dfc2 net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: add support for Wireless Ethernet Dispatch (WED)
The Wireless Ethernet Dispatch subsystem on the MT7622 SoC can be
configured to intercept and handle access to the DMA queues and
PCIe interrupts for a MT7615/MT7915 wireless card.
It can manage the internal WDMA (Wireless DMA) controller, which allows
ethernet packets to be passed from the packet switch engine (PSE) to the
wireless card, bypassing the CPU entirely.
This can be used to implement hardware flow offloading from ethernet to
WLAN.

f4b41f062c net: remove noblock parameter from skb_recv_datagram()
skb_recv_datagram() has two parameters 'flags' and 'noblock' that are
merged inside skb_recv_datagram() by 'flags | (noblock ? MSG_DONTWAIT : 0)'

As 'flags' may contain MSG_DONTWAIT as value most callers split the 'flags'
into 'flags' and 'noblock' with finally obsolete bit operations like this:

skb_recv_datagram(sk, flags & ~MSG_DONTWAIT, flags & MSG_DONTWAIT, &rc);

And this is not even done consistently with the 'flags' parameter.

This patch removes the obsolete and costly splitting into two parameters
and only performs bit operations when really needed on the caller side.

One missing conversion thankfully reported by kernel test robot. I missed
to enable kunit tests to build the mctp code.

2) io_complete_rw_iopoll() is called from io_do_iopoll()

3) dm returns BLK_STS_AGAIN for one bio (on behalf of underlying
   driver), then io_complete_rw_iopoll is called, but io_do_iopoll()
   doesn't handle -EAGAIN at all (due to logic in io_rw_should_reissue)

4) reason for dm's BLK_STS_AGAIN is underlying null_blk driver ran out
   of requests (easier to reproduce by setting low hw_queue_depth).

5) dm should handle BLK_STS_AGAIN for POLLED underlying IO, and may
   retry in dm layer.

This fix adds REQ_POLLED specific BLK_STS_AGAIN handling to
dm_io_complete() that clears REQ_POLLED and requeues the bio to DM
using queue_io().

aad5b23ebf dm: fix dm_io and dm_target_io flags race condition on Alpha
Early alpha processors cannot write a single byte or short; they read 8
bytes, modify the value in registers and write back 8 bytes.

This could cause race condition in the structure dm_io - if the fields
flags and io_count are modified simultaneously.

Fix this bug by using 32-bit flags if we are on Alpha and if we are

cc09e8a9de dm integrity: set journal entry unused when shrinking device
Commit f6f72f32c2 ("dm integrity: don't replay journal data past the

Fix this by calling journal_entry_set_unused() for this case.

8b188fba75 Revert "Input: clear BTN_RIGHT/MIDDLE on buttonpads"
This reverts commit 37ef4c19b4.

The touchpad present in the Dell Precision 7550 and 7750 laptops
reports a HID_DG_BUTTONTYPE of type MT_BUTTONTYPE_CLICKPAD. However,
the device is not a clickpad, it is a touchpad with physical buttons.

In order to fix this issue, a quirk for the device was introduced in
libinput [1] [2] to disable the INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD property:

	[Precision 7x50 Touchpad]
	MatchBus=i2c
	MatchUdevType=touchpad
	MatchDMIModalias=dmi:*svnDellInc.:pnPrecision7?50*
	AttrInputPropDisable=INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD

However, because of the change introduced in 37ef4c19b4 ("Input: clear
BTN_RIGHT/MIDDLE on buttonpads") the BTN_RIGHT key bit is not mapped
anymore breaking the device right click button and making impossible to
workaround it in user space.

In order to avoid breakage on other present or future devices, revert
the patch causing the issue.

0e8eb5e8ac platform/chrome: cros_ec_debugfs: detach log reader wq from devm
Debugfs console_log uses devm memory (e.g. debug_info in
cros_ec_console_log_poll()). However, lifecycles of device and debugfs
are independent. An use-after-free issue is observed if userland
program operates the debugfs after the memory has been freed.

The call trace:
 do_raw_spin_lock
 _raw_spin_lock_irqsave
 remove_wait_queue
 ep_unregister_pollwait
 ep_remove
 do_epoll_ctl

A Python example to reproduce the issue:
... import select
... p = select.epoll()
... f = open('/sys/kernel/debug/cros_scp/console_log')
... p.register(f, select.POLLIN)
... p.poll(1)
[(4, 1)]                    # 4=fd, 1=select.POLLIN

[ shutdown cros_scp at the point ]

... p.poll(1)
[(4, 16)]                   # 4=fd, 16=select.POLLHUP
... p.unregister(f)

An use-after-free issue raises here. It called epoll_ctl with
EPOLL_CTL_DEL which in turn to use the workqueue in the devm (i.e.
log_wq).

Detaches log reader's workqueue from devm to make sure it is persistent
even if the device has been removed.

2651ee5ae4 drbd: remove check of list iterator against head past the loop body
When list_for_each_entry() completes the iteration over the whole list
without breaking the loop, the iterator value will be a bogus pointer
computed based on the head element.

While it is safe to use the pointer to determine if it was computed
based on the head element, either with list_entry_is_head() or
&pos->member == head, using the iterator variable after the loop should
be avoided.

In preparation to limit the scope of a list iterator to the list
traversal loop, use a dedicated pointer to point to the found element [1].

Pull random number generator fixes from Jason Donenfeld:

 - If a hardware random number generator passes a sufficiently large
   chunk of entropy to random.c during early boot, we now skip the
   "fast_init" business and let it initialize the RNG.

   This makes CONFIG_RANDOM_TRUST_BOOTLOADER=y actually useful.

 - We already have the command line `random.trust_cpu=0/1` option for
   RDRAND, which let distros enable CONFIG_RANDOM_TRUST_CPU=y while
   placating concerns of more paranoid users.

   Now we add `random.trust_bootloader=0/1` so that distros can
   similarly enable CONFIG_RANDOM_TRUST_BOOTLOADER=y.

 - Re-add a comment that got removed by accident in the recent revert.

 - Add the spec-compliant ACPI CID for vmgenid, which Microsoft added to
   the vmgenid spec at Ard's request during earlier review.

 - Restore build-time randomness via the latent entropy plugin, which
   was lost when we transitioned to using a hash function.

1754abb3e7 random: mix build-time latent entropy into pool at init
Prior, the "input_pool_data" array needed no real initialization, and so
it was easy to mark it with __latent_entropy to populate it during
compile-time. In switching to using a hash function, this required us to
specifically initialize it to some specific state, which means we
dropped the __latent_entropy attribute. An unfortunate side effect was
this meant the pool was no longer seeded using compile-time random data.
In order to bring this back, we declare an array in rand_initialize()
with __latent_entropy and call mix_pool_bytes() on that at init, which
accomplishes the same thing as before. We make this __initconst, so that
it doesn't take up space at runtime after init.
