df18e504aa cpufreq / stats: Get rid of CPUFREQ_STATDEVICE_ATTR
Macro "CPUFREQ_STATDEVICE_ATTR" is defined local to cpufreq_stats.c file and is
almost a copy of the generic version present in cpufreq.h file. Lets use the
generic version instead.

1dd538f072 cpufreq: add imx6q-cpufreq driver
Add an imx6q-cpufreq driver for Freescale i.MX6Q SoC to handle the
hardware specific frequency and voltage scaling requirements.

The driver supports module build and is instantiated by the platform
device/driver mechanism, so that it will not be instantiated on other
platforms, as IMX is built with multiplatform support.

5f97ab913c drm/nouveau: add lockdep annotations
1) Lockdep thinks all nouveau subdevs belong to the same class and can be
locked in arbitrary order, which is not true (at least in general case).
Tell it to distinguish subdevs by (o)class type.
2) DRM client can be locked under user client lock - tell lockdep to put
DRM client lock in a separate class.

ac3ebafa81 ACPI / idle: remove usage of the statedata
Len Brown sent a patch to remove this field in the intel_idle driver.
The other user of this field is the davinci cpuidle driver and a
patch has been sent to remove the usage of it.

This patch removes the last user of this field.

6ef0f086be ACPI / idle: pass the cpuidle_device parameter
The cpuidle_device is retrieved in the function by using directly
the global variable. But the caller of this function already have
this device and it can be passed as a parameter. That is one small
step to encapsulate the code more.

Delay reporting memory pressure by a specified amount of time.
This addresses the problem where the host may take memory balancing
decisions based on incorrect memory pressure data that will be posted

36ce8d4f5f davinci: cpuidle - remove the ops
With one function handling the idle state and a single variable,
the usage of the davinci_ops is overkill.

This patch removes these ops and simplify the code.

Furthermore, the 'driver_data' field is no longer used, we have
1 of the 3 remaining user of this field removed.

84e345e4e2 time, Fix setting of hardware clock in NTP code
At init time, if the system time is "warped" forward in warp_clock()
it will differ from the hardware clock by sys_tz.tz_minuteswest.  This time
difference is not taken into account when ntp updates the hardware clock,
and this causes the system time to jump forward by this offset every reboot.

The kernel must take this offset into account when writing the system time
to the hardware clock in the ntp code.  This patch adds
persistent_clock_is_local which indicates that an offset has been applied
in warp_clock() and accounts for the "warp" before writing the hardware
clock.

x86 does not have this problem as rtc writes are software limited to a
+/-15 minute window relative to the current rtc time.  Other arches, such
as powerpc, however do a full synchronization of the system time to the
rtc and will see this problem.

d6d3c4e656 OF: convert devtree lock from rw_lock to raw spinlock
With the locking cleanup in place (from "OF: Fixup resursive
locking code paths"), we can now do the conversion from the
rw_lock to a raw spinlock as required for preempt-rt.

The previous cleanup and this conversion were originally
separate since they predated when mainline got raw spinlock (in
commit c2f21ce2e3 "locking: Implement new raw_spinlock").

So, at that point in time, the cleanup was considered plausible
for mainline, but not this conversion.  In any case, we've kept
them separate as it makes for easier review and better bisection.

03536e23ac net: sctp: sctp_auth_make_key_vector: use sctp_auth_create_key
In sctp_auth_make_key_vector, we allocate a temporary sctp_auth_bytes
structure with kmalloc instead of the sctp_auth_create_key allocator.
Change this to sctp_auth_create_key as it is the case everywhere else,
so that we also can properly free it via sctp_auth_key_put. This makes
it easier for future code changes in the structure and allocator itself,
since a single API is consistently used for this purpose. Also, by
using sctp_auth_create_key we're doing sanity checks over the arguments.

3807ff5899 macvlan: add a salt to mc_hash()
Some multicast addresses are common to all macvlans,
so if a multicast message has a hash value collision, we
have to deliver a copy to all macvlans, adding significant
latency and possible packet drops if netdev_max_backlog
limit is hit.

Having a per macvlan hash function permits to reduce the
impact of hash collisions.

e9ba103931 bgmac: fix "cmdcfg" calls for promisc and loopback modes
The last (bool) parameter in bgmac_cmdcfg_maskset says if the write
should be made, even if value didn't change. Currently driver doesn't

e5e6730588 skbuff: Move definition of NETDEV_FRAG_PAGE_MAX_SIZE
In order to address the fact that some devices cannot support the full 32K
frag size we need to have the value accessible somewhere so that we can use it
to do comparisons against what the device can support.  As such I am moving
the values out of skbuff.c and into skbuff.h.

01a7decf75 nfsd: keep a checksum of the first 256 bytes of request
Now that we're allowing more DRC entries, it becomes a lot easier to hit
problems with XID collisions. In order to mitigate those, calculate a
checksum of up to the first 256 bytes of each request coming in and store
that in the cache entry, along with the total length of the request.

This initially used crc32, but Chuck Lever and Jim Rees pointed out that
crc32 is probably more heavyweight than we really need for generating
these checksums, and recommended looking at using the same routines that
are used to generate checksums for IP packets.

On an x86_64 KVM guest measurements with ftrace showed ~800ns to use
csum_partial vs ~1750ns for crc32.  The difference probably isn't
terribly significant, but for now we may as well use csum_partial.

  Looking at the diffstat, this really is high value for its size; this
  is miniscule compared to how the -rc6 to tip diffstat currently looks.

  So, four patches in this set:
   - Punit Agrawal reports that the kernel no longer boots on MPCore due
     to a new assumption made in the GIC code which isn't true of
     earlier GIC designs.  This is the biggest change in this set.
   - Punit's boot log also revealed a bunch of WARN_ON() dumps caused by
     the DT-ification of the GIC support without fixing up non-DT
     Realview - which now sees a greater number of interrupts than it
     did before.
   - A fix for the DMA coherent code from Marek which uses the wrong
     check for atomic allocations; this can result in spinlock lockups
     or other nasty effects.
   - A fix from Will, which will affect all Android based platforms if
     not applied (which use the 2G:2G VM split) - this causes
     particularly 'make' to misbehave unless this bug is fixed."

11) L2TP uses ipv4 datagram routines in it's ipv6 code, whoops.  This
    mistake is largely because the ipv6 functions don't even have some

d34138d057 pcmcia: synclink_cs: fix error handling in mgslpc_probe()
mgslpc_probe() ignores errors in mgslpc_add_device() and
does not release all resource if mgslpc_config() failed.

The patch adds returned code to mgslpc_add_device()
and fixes the both issues.

Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org).

4c190e2f91 sunrpc: trim off trailing checksum before returning decrypted or integrity authenticated buffer
When GSSAPI integrity signatures are in use, or when we're using GSSAPI
privacy with the v2 token format, there is a trailing checksum on the
xdr_buf that is returned.

It's checked during the authentication stage, and afterward nothing
cares about it. Ordinarily, it's not a problem since the XDR code
generally ignores it, but it will be when we try to compute a checksum
over the buffer to help prevent XID collisions in the duplicate reply
cache.

Fix the code to trim off the checksums after verifying them. Note that
in unwrap_integ_data, we must avoid trying to reverify the checksum if
the request was deferred since it will no longer be present when it's
revisited.
