commit a7939f01672034a58ad3fdbce69bb6c665ce0024 upstream There is no reason to scan builtin/initrd microcode on each AP. Cache the builtin/initrd microcode in an early initcall so that the early AP loader can utilize the cache. The existing fs initcall which invoked save_microcode_in_initrd_amd() is still required to maintain the initrd_gone flag. Rename it accordingly. This will be removed once the AP loader code is converted to use the cache. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
