Few Android drivers e.g. uid_cputime and PPPoLAC/oPNS,
keyreset/combo, cpufreq_interactive etc.. fail to build
as kernel modules. Instead of fixing the build lets
make these drivers non-modular (switch config to "bool"
from "tristate" in Kconfig) since Android doesn't
support building kernel modules anyway.

AOSP's cpufreq_stats patch to report power/current
per cpufreq is broken at the moment so skip power
reporting for now.

Checking if the uid_entry->uid matches the uid intended to be removed will
prevent deleting unwanted uid_entry.
Type cast the key for the hashtable to the same size, as when they were
inserted. This will make sure that we can find the uid_entry we want.

Converting cputime_t to usec caused overflow when the value is greater
than 1 hour. Use msec and convert to unsigned long long to support bigger
range.

This avoids the race where a particular process is terminating and we
read the show_uid_stats. At this time since the task_struct still exists
and we will account for the terminating process as one of the active
task, where as the stats would have been added in the task exit
callback.

Adds proc files /proc/uid_cputime/show_uid_stat and
/proc/uid_cputime/remove_uid_range.
show_uid_stat lists the total utime and stime for the active as well as
terminated processes for each of the uids.
Writing a range of uids to remove_uid_range will delete the accounting
for all the uids within that range.

When enabled, tracks the frequency of network transmissions
(inbound and outbound) and buckets them accordingly.
Buckets are determined by time between network activity.
Each bucket represents the number of network transmisions that were
N sec or longer apart. Where N is defined as 1 << bucket index.
This network pattern tracking is particularly useful for wireless
networks (ie: 3G) where batching network activity closely together
is more power efficient than far apart.

A process element (defined in CAIA) keeps track of the endianess of
contexts through the Little Endian (LE) bit of the State Register. It
is currently set for user contexts, but was somehow forgotten for
kernel contexts, so this patch fixes it.
It could lead to erratic behavior from an AFU when the context is
attached through the kernel API.

Pull SCSI target updates from Nicholas Bellinger:
"This series contains HCH's changes to absorb configfs attribute
->show() + ->store() function pointer usage from it's original
tree-wide consumers, into common configfs code.
It includes usb-gadget, target w/ drivers, netconsole and ocfs2
changes to realize the improved simplicity, that now renders the
original include/target/configfs_macros.h CPP magic for fabric drivers
and others, unnecessary and obsolete.
And with common code in place, new configfs attributes can be added
easier than ever before.
Note, there are further improvements in-flight from other folks for
v4.5 code in configfs land, plus number of target fixes for post -rc1
code"
In the meantime, a new user of the now-removed old configfs API came in
through the char/misc tree in commit 7bd1d4093c ("stm class: Introduce
an abstraction for System Trace Module devices").
This merge resolution comes from Alexander Shishkin, who updated his stm
class tracing abstraction to account for the removal of the old
show_attribute and store_attribute methods in commit 517982229f
("configfs: remove old API") from this pull. As Alexander says about
that patch:
"There's no need to keep an extra wrapper structure per item and the
awkward show_attribute/store_attribute item ops are no longer needed.
This patch converts policy code to the new api, all the while making
the code quite a bit smaller and easier on the eyes.

"As we've enabled multiplatform kernels on ARM, and greatly done away
with the contents under arch/arm/mach-*, there's still need for
SoC-related drivers to go somewhere.
Many of them go in through other driver trees, but we still have
drivers/soc to hold some of the "doesn't fit anywhere" lowlevel code
that might be shared between ARM and ARM64 (or just in general makes
sense to not have under the architecture directory).
This branch contains mostly such code:
- Drivers for qualcomm SoCs for SMEM, SMD and SMD-RPM, used to
communicate with power management blocks on these SoCs for use by
clock, regulator and bus frequency drivers.
- Allwinner Reduced Serial Bus driver, again used to communicate with
PMICs.
- Drivers for ARM's SCPI (System Control Processor). Not to be
confused with PSCI (Power State Coordination Interface). SCPI is
used to communicate with the assistant embedded cores doing power
management, and we have yet to see how many of them will implement
this for their hardware vs abstracting in other ways (or not at all
like in the past).
- To make confusion between SCPI and PSCI more likely, this release
also includes an update of PSCI to interface version 1.0.
- Rockchip support for power domains.

pktcdvd: drop null test before destroy functions
__GFP_WAIT was used to signal that the caller was in atomic context and
could not sleep. Now it is possible to distinguish between true atomic
context and callers that are not willing to sleep. The latter should
clear __GFP_DIRECT_RECLAIM so kswapd will still wake. As clearing
__GFP_WAIT behaves differently, there is a risk that people will clear the
wrong flags. This patch renames __GFP_WAIT to __GFP_RECLAIM to clearly
indicate what it does -- setting it allows all reclaim activity, clearing
them prevents it.

Add a copy_to_user() call to the ACCESS_USERSPACE test
prior to attempting direct dereferencing of the user
address to ensure the page is present. Otherwise,
a fault occurs on arm kernels even prior to the introduction
of CONFIG_CPU_SW_DOMAIN_PAN, and there is no difference in
behavior for CONFIG_CPU_SW_DOMAIN_PAN=n vs CONFIG_CPU_SW_DOMAIN_PAN=y.

Checking if the uid_entry->uid matches the uid intended to be removed will
prevent deleting unwanted uid_entry.
Type cast the key for the hashtable to the same size, as when they were
inserted. This will make sure that we can find the uid_entry we want.

Converting cputime_t to usec caused overflow when the value is greater
than 1 hour. Use msec and convert to unsigned long long to support bigger
range.

task exit.
This avoids the race where a particular process is terminating and we
read the show_uid_stats. At this time since the task_struct still exists
and we will account for the terminating process as one of the active
task, where as the stats would have been added in the task exit
callback.

This change adds functionality to operate on reserved SRAM partitions
described in device tree file. Two partition properties are added,
"pool" and "export", the first one allows to share a specific partition
for usage by a kernel consumer in the same manner as it is done for
the whole SRAM device, and "export" property provides access to some
SRAM area from userspace over sysfs interface. Practically it is
possible to specify both properties for an SRAM partition, however
simultaneous access from a kernel consumer and from userspace is not
serialized, but still the combination may be useful for debugging
purpose.
The change opens the following scenarios of SRAM usage:
* updates in a particular SRAM area specified by offset and size are
done by bootloader, then this information is utilized by the kernel,
* a particular SRAM area is rw accessed from userspace, the stored
data is persistent on soft reboots,
* a device driver secures SRAM area for its purposes,
* etc.
Note, strictly speaking the added optional properties describe policy
of SRAM usage, rather than hardware, but here the policy mostly
resembles flash partitions in devicetree, which is undoubtedly
a very popular option but it does not describe hardware.
