The merkle tree pages at the end of the incremental files were being
zero'd and marked uptodate on 5.15. Mark uptodate on creation to prevent
this.

8920ba7401 ANDROID: iommu/io-pgtable-arm: Add IOMMU_CACHE_ICACHE_OCACHE_NWA
Allow io-coherent devices to use a inner writeback read/write allocate,
outer writeback read allocate, no-write allocate cache policy. The outer
cache policy affects the behavior of a system cache, at least on qcom
boards which have one.

The rational follows that of IOMMU_SYS_CACHE_ONLY_NWA. Certain gpu
usecases perform better when using a no-write allocate policy.

Rename the IOMMU_SYS_CACHE_* flags to better reflect that they are not
exclusive with IOMMU_CACHE.

ec1e52f1ca ANDROID: iommu/dma: Add support for DMA_ATTR_SYS_CACHE_ONLY_NWA
IOMMU_SYS_CACHE_ONLY_NWA allows buffers for non-coherent devices
to be mapped with the correct memory attributes so that the buffers
can be cached in the system cache, with a no write allocate cache policy.
However, this property is only usable by drivers that invoke the
IOMMU API directly; it is not usable by drivers that use the DMA API.

Thus, introduce DMA_ATTR_SYS_CACHE_ONLY_NWA, so that drivers for
non-coherent devices that use the DMA API can use it to specify if
they want a buffer to be cached in the system cache.

2c39fe8223 ANDROID: arm64: Add support for system cache memory type
Non-coherent devices on systems that support a system or
last level cache may want to request that allocations be
cached in the system cache. For memory that is allocated
by the kernel, and used for DMA with devices, the memory
attributes used for CPU access should match the memory
attributes that will be used for device access.

The memory attributes that need to be programmed into
the MAIR for system cache usage are:

0xf4 - Normal memory, outer write back read/write allocate,
inner non-cacheable.

There is currently no support for this memory attribute for
CPU mappings, so add it.

2b3eb6227c FROMLIST: Revert mm/gup: small refactoring: simplify try_grab_page()
This reverts commit 54d516b1d6

That commit did a refactoring that effectively combined fast and slow
gup paths (again). And that was again incorrect, for two reasons:

a) Fast gup and slow gup get reference counts on pages in different ways
and with different goals: see Linus' writeup in commit cd1adf1b63
("Revert "mm/gup: remove try_get_page(), call try_get_compound_head()
directly""), and

b) try_grab_compound_head() also has a specific check for "FOLL_LONGTERM
&& !is_pinned(page)", that assumes that the caller can fall back to slow
gup. This resulted in new failures, as recently report by Will McVicker
[1].

But (a) has problems too, even though they may not have been reported
yet. So just revert this.

2270e9af6b ANDROID: KVM: arm64: pkvm: Prevent the donation of no-map pages
Memory regions marked as no-map in DT routinely include TrustZone
carevouts and such. Although donating such pages to a guest may not
breach confidentiality, it may be used to corrupt its state in
uncontrollable ways. To prevent this, let's block host-initiated memory
transitions targeting no-map pages altogether in nVHE protected mode as
there should be no valid reason to do this currently.

Thankfully, the pKVM EL2 hypervisor has a full copy of the host's list
of memblock regions, hence allowing to check for the presence of the
MEMBLOCK_NOMAP flag on any given region at EL2 easily.

6066977961 drm/vmwgfx: Fix stale file descriptors on failed usercopy
commit a0f90c8815 upstream.

A failing usercopy of the fence_rep object will lead to a stale entry in
the file descriptor table as put_unused_fd() won't release it. This
enables userland to refer to a dangling 'file' object through that still
valid file descriptor, leading to all kinds of use-after-free
exploitation scenarios.

Fix this by deferring the call to fd_install() until after the usercopy
has succeeded.

9c82ce5936 arm64/bpf: Remove 128MB limit for BPF JIT programs
commit b89ddf4cca upstream.

Commit 91fc957c9b ("arm64/bpf: don't allocate BPF JIT programs in module
memory") restricts BPF JIT program allocation to a 128MB region to ensure
BPF programs are still in branching range of each other. However this
restriction should not apply to the aarch64 JIT, since BPF_JMP | BPF_CALL
are implemented as a 64-bit move into a register and then a BLR instruction -
which has the effect of being able to call anything without proximity
limitation.

The practical reason to relax this restriction on JIT memory is that 128MB of
JIT memory can be quickly exhausted, especially where PAGE_SIZE is 64KB - one
page is needed per program. In cases where seccomp filters are applied to
multiple VMs on VM launch - such filters are classic BPF but converted to
BPF - this can severely limit the number of VMs that can be launched. In a
world where we support BPF JIT always on, turning off the JIT isn't always an
option either.

7b6577cf9f drm/amdgpu: Use correct VIEWPORT_DIMENSION for DCN2
commit dc5d4aff2e upstream.

For some reason this file isn't using the appropriate register
headers for DCN headers, which means that on DCN2 we're getting
the VIEWPORT_DIMENSION offset wrong.

This means that we're not correctly carving out the framebuffer
memory correctly for a framebuffer allocated by EFI and
therefore see corruption when loading amdgpu before the display
driver takes over control of the framebuffer scanout.

Fix this by checking the DCE_HWIP and picking the correct offset
accordingly.

Long-term we should expose this info from DC as GMC shouldn't
need to know about DCN registers.

145407e54f select: Fix indefinitely sleeping task in poll_schedule_timeout()
commit 68514dacf2 upstream.

A task can end up indefinitely sleeping in do_select() ->
poll_schedule_timeout() when the following race happens:

  TASK1 (thread1)             TASK2                   TASK1 (thread2)
  do_select()
    setup poll_wqueues table
    with 'fd'
                              write data to 'fd'
                                pollwake()
                                  table->triggered = 1
                                                      closes 'fd' thread1 is
                                                        waiting for
    poll_schedule_timeout()
      - sees table->triggered
      table->triggered = 0
      return -EINTR
    loop back in do_select()

But at this point when TASK1 loops back, the fdget() in the setup of
poll_wqueues fails. So now so we never find 'fd' is ready for reading
and sleep in poll_schedule_timeout() indefinitely.

Treat an fd that got closed as a fd on which some event happened. This
makes sure cannot block indefinitely in do_select().

Another option would be to return -EBADF in this case but that has a
potential of subtly breaking applications that excercise this behavior
and it happens to work for them. So returning fd as active seems like a
safer choice.

c3156dbd50 rcu: Tighten rcu_advance_cbs_nowake() checks
commit 614ddad17f upstream.

Currently, rcu_advance_cbs_nowake() checks that a grace period is in
progress, however, that grace period could end just after the check.
This commit rechecks that a grace period is still in progress while
holding the rcu_node structure's lock. The grace period cannot end while
the current CPU's rcu_node structure's ->lock is held, thus avoiding
false positives from the WARN_ON_ONCE().

As Daniel Vacek noted, it is not necessary for the rcu_node structure
to have a CPU that has not yet passed through its quiescent state.

6ebe994b54 memcg: better bounds on the memcg stats updates
commit 5b3be698a8 upstream.

Commit 11192d9c12 ("memcg: flush stats only if updated") added
tracking of memcg stats updates which is used by the readers to flush
only if the updates are over a certain threshold. However each
individual update can correspond to a large value change for a given
stat. For example adding or removing a hugepage to an LRU changes the
stat by thp_nr_pages (512 on x86_64).

Treating the update related to THP as one can keep the stat off, in
theory, by (thp_nr_pages * nr_cpus * CHARGE_BATCH) before flush.

To handle such scenarios, this patch adds consideration of the stat
update value as well instead of just the update event. In addition let
the asyn flusher unconditionally flush the stats to put time limit on
the stats skew and hopefully a lot less readers would need to flush.

6c8076660d memcg: unify memcg stat flushing
commit fd25a9e0e2 upstream.

The memcg stats can be flushed in multiple context and potentially in
parallel too. For example multiple parallel user space readers for
memcg stats will contend on the rstat locks with each other. There is
no need for that. We just need one flusher and everyone else can
benefit.

In addition after aa48e47e39 ("memcg: infrastructure to flush memcg
stats") the kernel periodically flush the memcg stats from the root, so,
the other flushers will potentially have much less work to do.

7182935bd5 memcg: flush stats only if updated
commit 11192d9c12 upstream.

At the moment, the kernel flushes the memcg stats on every refault and
also on every reclaim iteration. Although rstat maintains per-cpu
update tree but on the flush the kernel still has to go through all the
cpu rstat update tree to check if there is anything to flush. This
patch adds the tracking on the stats update side to make flush side more
clever by skipping the flush if there is no update.

The stats update codepath is very sensitive performance wise for many
workloads and benchmarks. So, we can not follow what the commit
aa48e47e39 ("memcg: infrastructure to flush memcg stats") did which
was triggering async flush through queue_work() and caused a lot
performance regression reports. That got reverted by the commit
1f828223b7 ("memcg: flush lruvec stats in the refault").

In this patch we kept the stats update codepath very minimal and let the
stats reader side to flush the stats only when the updates are over a
specific threshold. For now the threshold is (nr_cpus * CHARGE_BATCH).

To evaluate the impact of this patch, an 8 GiB tmpfs file is created on
a system with swap-on-zram and the file was pushed to swap through
memory.force_empty interface. On reading the whole file, the memcg stat
flush in the refault code path is triggered. With this patch, we
observed 63% reduction in the read time of 8 GiB file.

2691be41fe bnx2x: Invalidate fastpath HSI version for VFs
commit 802d4d207e upstream

Commit 0a6890b9b4 ("bnx2x: Utilize FW 7.13.15.0.")
added validation for fastpath HSI versions for different
client init which was not meant for SR-IOV VF clients, which
resulted in firmware asserts when running VF clients with
different fastpath HSI version.

This patch along with the new firmware support in patch #1
fixes this behavior in order to not validate fastpath HSI
version for the VFs.

8a17a077e7 drm/i915: Flush TLBs before releasing backing store
commit 7938d61591 upstream.

We need to flush TLBs before releasing backing store otherwise userspace
is able to encounter stale entries if a) it is not declaring access to
certain buffers and b) it races with the backing store release from a
such undeclared execution already executing on the GPU in parallel.

The approach taken is to mark any buffer objects which were ever bound
to the GPU and to trigger a serialized TLB flush when their backing
store is released.

Alternatively the flushing could be done on VMA unbind, at which point
we would be able to ascertain whether there is potential a parallel GPU
execution (which could race), but essentially it boils down to paying
the cost of TLB flushes potentially needlessly at VMA unbind time (when
the backing store is not known to be going away so not needed for
safety), versus potentially needlessly at backing store relase time
(since we at that point cannot tell whether there is anything executing
on the GPU which uses that object).

Thereforce simplicity of implementation has been chosen for now with
scope to benchmark and refine later as required.

6a5e97033e FROMLIST: kbuild: install the modules.order for external modules
Add support to install the modules.order file for external modules
during module_install in order to retain the Makefile ordering
of external modules. This helps reduce the extra steps necessary to
properly order loading of external modules when there are multiple
kernel modules compiled within a given KBUILD_EXTMOD directory.

To handle compiling multiple external modules within the same
INSTALL_MOD_DIR, kbuild will append a suffix to the installed
modules.order file defined like so:

  echo "${KBUILD_EXTMOD}" | md5sum | cut -d " " -f 1

Example:
  KBUILD_EXTMOD=/mnt/a.b/c-d/my_driver results in:
  modules.order.7dd3eb90588c21ac15f23a96c2f6d8ec

The installed module.order.$(extmod_suffix) files can then be appended
to the staging modules.order file which defines the order to load all of
the modules during boot.

Example:
  cd $(MODLIB)
  find extra/. -name modules.order.* -exec cat {} >> modules.order \;

784db42db8 BACKPORT: FROMLIST: misc: open-dice: Add driver to expose DICE data to userspace
Open Profile for DICE is an open protocol for measured boot compatible
with the Trusted Computing Group's Device Identifier Composition
Engine (DICE) specification. The generated Compound Device Identifier
(CDI) certificates represent the hardware/software combination measured
by DICE, and can be used for remote attestation and sealing.

Add a driver that exposes reserved memory regions populated by firmware
with DICE CDIs and exposes them to userspace via a character device.

Userspace obtains the memory region's size from read() and calls mmap()
to create a mapping of the memory region in its address space. The
mapping is not allowed to be write+shared, giving userspace a guarantee
that the data were not overwritten by another process.

Userspace can also call write(), which triggers a wipe of the DICE data
by the driver. Because both the kernel and userspace mappings use
write-combine semantics, all clients observe the memory as zeroed after
the syscall has returned.

        if (qdisc->ops->attach)
            qdisc->ops->attach(qdisc);
    } else {
        ...
    }

As we see, the attach callback is not called if the qdisc is being
attached to ingress (TC_H_INGRESS). That wasn't a problem for mq and
mqprio, since they contain a check that they are attached to TC_H_ROOT,
and they can't be attached to TC_H_INGRESS anyway.

However, the commit cited below added the attach callback to htb. It is
needed for the hardware offload, but in the non-offload mode it
simulates the "do egress stuff" part of the pseudocode above. The
problem is that when htb is attached to ingress, neither "do ingress
stuff" nor attach() is called. It results in an inconsistency, and the
following message is printed to dmesg:

unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 2

This commit addresses the issue by running "do ingress stuff" in the
ingress flow even in the attach callback is present, which is fine,
because attach isn't going to be called afterwards.

The bug was found by syzbot and reported by Eric.

814527dbc1 dt-bindings: watchdog: Require samsung,syscon-phandle for Exynos7
commit 33950f9a36 upstream.

Exynos7 watchdog driver is clearly indicating that its dts node must
define syscon phandle property. That was probably forgotten, so add it.
