d61ae331d6 tty: serial: sh-sci: Add support for tx end interrupt handling
As per the RZ/G2L users hardware manual (Rev.1.20 Sep, 2022), section
23.3.7 Serial Data Transmission (Asynchronous Mode), it is mentioned
that, set the SCR.TIE bit to 0 and SCR.TEIE bit to 1, after the last
data to be transmitted are written to the TDR.

This will generate tx end interrupt and in the handler set SCR.TE and
SCR.TEIE to 0.

1707ce2d1e tty: serial: sh-sci: Fix TE setting on SCI IP
As per the RZ/G2L users hardware manual (Rev.1.20 Sep, 2022), section
23.3.7 Serial Data Transmission (Asynchronous Mode) it is mentioned
that the TE (transmit enable) must be set after setting TIE (transmit
interrupt enable) or these 2 bits are set to 1 simultaneously by a
single instruction. So set these 2 bits in single instruction.

cf383d1238 tty: serial: sh-sci: Add RZ/G2L SCIFA DMA rx support
SCIFA IP on RZ/G2L SoC has the same signal for both interrupt
and DMA transfer request. Setting DMARS register for DMA transfer
makes the signal to work as a DMA transfer request signal and
subsequent interrupt requests to the interrupt controller
are masked. Similarly clearing DMARS register makes signal to work as
interrupt signal and subsequent interrupt requests to the interrupt
controller are unmasked.

Add SCIFA DMA rx support for RZ/G2L alike SoCs by disabling RXI line
interrupt and setting DMARS registers by DMA api for DMA transfer request.

Apart from this, we must set FIFO trigger to 1 for the expected behavior
of the receive transmission.

While at it replace the parameter irq to s->irqs[SCIx_RXI_IRQ] in
disable_irq_nosync() to match enable_irq() in sci_dma_rx_reenable_irq().

3f42b142ea serial: max310x: fix IO data corruption in batched operations
After upgrading from 5.16 to 6.1, our board with a MAX14830 started
producing lots of garbage data over UART. Bisection pointed out commit
285e76fc04 as the culprit. That patch tried to replace hand-written
code which I added in 2b4bac48c1 ("serial: max310x: Use batched reads
when reasonably safe") with the generic regmap infrastructure for
batched operations.

Unfortunately, the `regmap_raw_read` and `regmap_raw_write` which were
used are actually functions which perform IO over *multiple* registers.
That's not what is needed for accessing these Tx/Rx FIFOs; the
appropriate functions are the `_noinc_` versions, not the `_raw_` ones.

Fix this regression by using `regmap_noinc_read()` and
`regmap_noinc_write()` along with the necessary `regmap_config` setup;
with this patch in place, our board communicates happily again. Since
our board uses SPI for talking to this chip, the I2C part is completely
untested.

63f4c34561 serial: core: Disable uart_start() on uart_remove_one_port()
While rebinding a uart device in a loop I noticed we may see a tx related
race on uart_remove_one_port():

uart_write from n_tty_write
n_tty_write from file_tty_write.constprop.0
file_tty_write.constprop.0 from vfs_write
vfs_write from ksys_write
ksys_write from ret_fast_syscall

Let's disallow tx on port->UPF_DEAD. This flag gets set before we start
tearing down the port in uart_remove_one_port().

04e82793f0 serial: 8250: Reinit port->pm on port specific driver unbind
When we unbind a serial port hardware specific 8250 driver, the generic
serial8250 driver takes over the port. After that we see an oops about 10
seconds later. This can produce the following at least on some TI SoCs:

Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort (0x1406)
Internal error: : 1406 [#1] SMP ARM

Turns out that we may still have the serial port hardware specific driver
port->pm in use, and serial8250_pm() tries to call it after the port
specific driver is gone:

serial8250_pm [8250_base] from uart_change_pm+0x54/0x8c [serial_base]
uart_change_pm [serial_base] from uart_hangup+0x154/0x198 [serial_base]
uart_hangup [serial_base] from __tty_hangup.part.0+0x328/0x37c
__tty_hangup.part.0 from disassociate_ctty+0x154/0x20c
disassociate_ctty from do_exit+0x744/0xaac
do_exit from do_group_exit+0x40/0x8c
do_group_exit from __wake_up_parent+0x0/0x1c

Let's fix the issue by calling serial8250_set_defaults() in
serial8250_unregister_port(). This will set the port back to using
the serial8250 default functions, and sets the port->pm to point to
serial8250_pm.

c08cfd6716 Merge tag 'cxl-fixes-6.3-rc6' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cxl/cxl
Pull compute express link (cxl) fixes from Dan Williams:
"Several fixes for driver startup regressions that landed during the
merge window as well as some older bugs.

The regressions were due to a lack of testing with what the CXL
specification calls Restricted CXL Host (RCH) topologies compared to
the testing with Virtual Host (VH) CXL topologies. A VH topology is
typical PCIe while RCH topologies map CXL endpoints as Root Complex
Integrated endpoints. The impact is some driver crashes on startup.

This merge window also added compatibility for range registers (the
mechanism that CXL 1.1 defined for mapping memory) to treat them like
HDM decoders (the mechanism that CXL 2.0 defined for mapping
Host-managed Device Memory). That work collided with the new region
enumeration code that was tested with CXL 2.0 setups, and fails with
  crashes at startup.

Lastly, the DOE (Data Object Exchange) implementation for retrieving
an ACPI-like data table from CXL devices is being reworked for v6.4.
Several fixes fell out of that work that are suitable for v6.3.

All of this has been in linux-next for a while, and all reported
  issues [1] have been addressed.

  Summary:

   - Fix several issues with region enumeration in RCH topologies that
can trigger crashes on driver startup or shutdown.

   - Fix CXL DVSEC range register compatibility versus region
enumeration that leads to startup crashes

   - Fix CDAT endiannes handling

   - Fix multiple buffer handling boundary conditions

   - Fix Data Object Exchange (DOE) workqueue usage vs
     CONFIG_DEBUG_OBJECTS warn splats"

3723091ea1 block: don't set GD_NEED_PART_SCAN if scan partition failed
Currently if disk_scan_partitions() failed, GD_NEED_PART_SCAN will still
set, and partition scan will be proceed again when blkdev_get_by_dev()
is called. However, this will cause a problem that re-assemble partitioned
raid device will creat partition for underlying disk.

Test procedure:

mdadm -CR /dev/md0 -l 1 -n 2 /dev/sda /dev/sdb -e 1.0
sgdisk -n 0:0:+100MiB /dev/md0
blockdev --rereadpt /dev/sda
blockdev --rereadpt /dev/sdb
mdadm -S /dev/md0
mdadm -A /dev/md0 /dev/sda /dev/sdb

Test result: underlying disk partition and raid partition can be
observed at the same time

Note that this can still happen in come corner cases that
GD_NEED_PART_SCAN can be set for underlying disk while re-assemble raid
device.

2a2d8c51de ftrace: Fix issue that 'direct->addr' not restored in modify_ftrace_direct()
Syzkaller report a WARNING: "WARN_ON(!direct)" in modify_ftrace_direct().

Root cause is 'direct->addr' was changed from 'old_addr' to 'new_addr' but
not restored if error happened on calling ftrace_modify_direct_caller().
Then it can no longer find 'direct' by that 'old_addr'.

To fix it, restore 'direct->addr' to 'old_addr' explicitly in error path.

bbb73a103f swiotlb: fix a braino in the alignment check fix
The alignment mask in swiotlb_do_find_slots() masks off the high
bits which are not relevant for the alignment, so multiple
requirements are combined with a bitwise OR rather than AND.
In plain English, the stricter the alignment, the more bits must
be set in iotlb_align_mask.

Confusion may arise from the fact that the same variable is also
used to mask off the offset within a swiotlb slot, which is
achieved with a bitwise AND.
