3d5941d2b4 FROMLIST: drm: msm: Quiet down plane errors in atomic_check
With the db845c running AOSP, I see the following error on every
frame on the home screen:
  [drm:dpu_plane_atomic_check:915] [dpu error]plane33 invalid src 2880x1620+0+470 line:2560

This is due to the error paths in atomic_check using
DPU_ERROR_PLANE(), and the drm_hwcomposer using atomic_check
to decide how to composite the frame (thus it expects to see
atomic_check to fail).

In order to avoid spamming the logs, this patch converts the
DPU_ERROR_PLANE() calls to DPU_DEBUG_PLANE() calls in
atomic_check.

20bdb40ef9 FROMLIST: reset: qcom-aoss: Allow CONFIG_RESET_QCOM_AOSS to be a tristate
Allow CONFIG_RESET_QCOM_AOSS to be set as as =m to allow for the
driver to be loaded from a modules.

cfd7e6c13c FROMLIST: Update Inline Encryption from v5 to v6 of patch series
Changes v5 => v6:
 - Blk-crypto's kernel crypto API fallback is no longer restricted to
   8-byte DUNs. It's also now separately configurable from blk-crypto, and
   can be disabled entirely, while still allowing the kernel to use inline
   encryption hardware. Further, struct bio_crypt_ctx takes up less space,
   and no longer contains the information needed by the crypto API
   fallback - the fallback allocates the required memory when necessary.
 - Blk-crypto now supports all file content encryption modes supported by
   fscrypt.
 - Fixed bio merging logic in blk-merge.c
 - Fscrypt now supports inline encryption with the direct key policy, since
   blk-crypto now has support for larger DUNs.
 - Keyslot manager now uses a hashtable to lookup which keyslot contains
   any particular key (thanks Eric!)
 - Fscrypt support for inline encryption now handles filesystems with
   multiple underlying block devices (thanks Eric!)
 - Numerous cleanups

13cf4cf030 riscv: move sifive_l2_cache.h to include/soc
The commit 9209fb5189 ("riscv: move sifive_l2_cache.c to drivers/soc")
moves the sifive L2 cache driver to driver/soc. It did not move the
header file along with the driver. Therefore this patch moves the header
file to driver/soc

 "This contains a series of patches to fix CLONE_SETTLS when used with
  clone3().

  The clone3() syscall passes the tls argument through struct clone_args
  instead of a register. This means, all architectures that do not
  implement copy_thread_tls() but still support CLONE_SETTLS via
  copy_thread() expecting the tls to be located in a register argument
  based on clone() are currently unfortunately broken. Their tls value
  will be garbage.

  The patch series fixes this on all architectures that currently define
  __ARCH_WANT_SYS_CLONE3. It also adds a compile-time check to ensure
  that any architecture that enables clone3() in the future is forced to
  also implement copy_thread_tls().

  My ultimate goal is to get rid of the copy_thread()/copy_thread_tls()
  split and just have copy_thread_tls() at some point in the not too
  distant future (Maybe even renaming copy_thread_tls() back to simply
  copy_thread() once the old function is ripped from all arches). This
  is dependent now on all arches supporting clone3().

  While all relevant arches do that now there are still four missing:
  ia64, m68k, sh and sparc. They have the system call reserved, but not
  implemented. Once they all implement clone3() we can get rid of
  ARCH_WANT_SYS_CLONE3 and HAVE_COPY_THREAD_TLS.

  This series also includes a minor fix for the arm64 uapi headers which
  caused __NR_clone3 to be missing from the exported user headers.

  Unfortunately the series came in a little late especially given that
  it touches a range of architectures. Due to the holidays not all arch
  maintainers responded in time probably due to their backlog. Will and
  Arnd have thankfully acked the arm specific changes.

  Given that the changes are straightforward and rather minimal combined
  with the fact the that clone3() with CLONE_SETTLS is broken I decided
  to send them post rc3 nonetheless"

1955a78a6a ANDROID: Kconfig.gki: Add QCOM_SCM to QCOM Hidden configs
QCOM_SCM is needed to be able to boot on db845c and is normally
selected by modules such as QCOM_RMTFS_MEM.

This dependency got accidentally dropped before the holidays
when I moved the QCOM_RMTFS_MEM to a module instead of a gki
built in.

e17016f6dc nvmet: fix per feat data len for get_feature
The existing implementation for the get_feature admin-cmd does not
use per-feature data len. This patch introduces a new helper function
nvmet_feat_data_len(), which is used to calculate per feature data len.
Right now we only set data len for fid 0x81 (NVME_FEAT_HOST_ID).

35038bffa8 nvme: Translate more status codes to blk_status_t
Decode interrupted command and not ready namespace nvme status codes to
BLK_STS_TARGET. These are not generic IO errors and should use a non-path
specific error so that it can use the non-failover retry path.

Since commit c550a54f23 ("ANDROID: serdev: add platform device
support"), the serial console on the db845c has stopped taking
input.

Digging in it seems when the tty used for the console is
switched to serdev via serdev_tty_port_register(), the
client_ops are changed here:

The problem being, the new client_ops->receive_buf function
ttyport_receive_buf() starts failing on the SERPORT_ACTIVE
test here:

Which seems to be due to the fact that the tty was already
opened and being used as the console when it was switched to
serdev. Thus ctrl_ops->open function never gets called, which
prevents the SERPORT_ACTIVE bit from being set:

Now this was at first confusing as on the HiKey960 we don't see
the issue. But in the HiKey960 case it seem the check here:

fails preventing the tty from being switched to serdev.

Thus this patch tries to avoid switching the tty to serdev if
the tty port's console value is true.

With this, the serial console continues to function.

cf8ce8b80f i2c: fix bus recovery stop mode timing
The I2C specification states that tsu:sto for standard mode timing must
be at minimum 4us. Pictographically, this is:

SCL: ____/~~~~~~~~~
SDA: _________/~~~~
       ->|    |<- 4us minimum

We are currently waiting 2.5us between asserting SCL and SDA, which is
in violation of the standard. Adjust the timings to ensure that we meet
what is stipulated as the minimum timings to ensure that all devices
correctly interpret the STOP bus transition.

This is more important than trying to generate a square wave with even
duty cycle.

82de6a6fb6 mtd: spi-nor: Fix the writing of the Status Register on micron flashes
Micron flashes do not support 16 bit writes on the Status Register.
According to micron datasheets, when using the Write Status Register
(01h) command, the chip select should be driven LOW and held LOW until
the eighth bit of the last data byte has been latched in, after which
it must be driven HIGH. If CS is not driven HIGH, the command is not
executed, flag status register error bits are not set, and the write enable
latch remains set to 1. This fixes the lock operations on micron flashes.
