e64f4a8cb7 UPSTREAM: arm64: vdso: Fix population of AT_SYSINFO_EHDR for compat vdso
Prior to the introduction of Unified vDSO support and compat layer for
vDSO on arm64, AT_SYSINFO_EHDR was not defined for compat tasks.
In the current implementation, AT_SYSINFO_EHDR is defined even if the
compat vdso layer is not built, which has been shown to break Android
applications using bionic:

tasks is defined only when CONFIG_COMPAT_VDSO is enabled.

d98e9848ac UPSTREAM: arm64: vdso: Fix compilation with clang older than 8
clang versions older than 8 do not support -mcmodel=tiny.

Add a check to the vDSO Makefile for arm64 to remove the flag when
these versions of the compiler are detected.

c3694793a1 UPSTREAM: arm64: compat: Fix __arch_get_hw_counter() implementation
Provide the following fixes for the __arch_get_hw_counter()
implementation on arm64:
- Fallback on syscall when an unstable counter is detected.
- Introduce isb()s before and after the counter read to avoid
speculation of the counter value and of the seq lock
respectively.
The second isb() is a temporary solution that will be revisited
in 5.3-rc1.

These fixes restore the semantics that __arch_counter_get_cntvct()
had on arm64.

41423d05ab UPSTREAM: x86/vdso/32: Use 32bit syscall fallback
The generic VDSO implementation uses the Y2038 safe clock_gettime64() and
clock_getres_time64() syscalls as fallback for 32bit VDSO. This breaks
seccomp setups because these syscalls might be not (yet) allowed.

Implement the 32bit variants which use the legacy syscalls and select the
variant in the core library.

The 64bit time variants are not removed because they are required for the
time64 based vdso accessors.

This is causing "LD vmlinux" once every two times even without any
modifications. This is the same bug fixed in commit 92a4728608
("x86/boot: Fix if_changed build flip/flop bug"). Two "if_changed" cannot
be used in one target.

Fix this merging two commands into one function.

d348db5c19 UPSTREAM: x86/vdso: Give the [ph]vclock_page declarations real types
Clean up the vDSO code a bit by giving pvclock_page and hvclock_page
their actual types instead of u8[PAGE_SIZE].  This shouldn't
materially affect the generated code.

a1cdff3f57 UPSTREAM: x86/vdso: Add clock_gettime64() entry point
Linux 5.1 gained the new clock_gettime64() syscall to address the Y2038
problem on 32bit systems. The x86 VDSO is missing support for this variant
of clock_gettime().

Update the x86 specific vDSO library accordingly so it exposes the new time
getter.

0eb9ee1074 UPSTREAM: x86/segments: Introduce the 'CPUNODE' naming to better document the segment limit CPU/node NR trick
We have a special segment descriptor entry in the GDT, whose sole purpose is to
encode the CPU and node numbers in its limit (size) field. There are user-space
instructions that allow the reading of the limit field, which gives us a really
fast way to read the CPU and node IDs from the vDSO for example.

But the naming of related functionality does not make this clear, at all:

	VDSO_CPU_SIZE
	VDSO_CPU_MASK
	__CPU_NUMBER_SEG
	GDT_ENTRY_CPU_NUMBER
	vdso_encode_cpu_node
	vdso_read_cpu_node

There's a number of problems:

 - The 'VDSO_CPU_SIZE' doesn't really make it clear that these are number
   of bits, nor does it make it clear which 'CPU' this refers to, i.e.
   that this is about a GDT entry whose limit encodes the CPU and node number.

 - Furthermore, the 'CPU_NUMBER' naming is actively misleading as well,
   because the segment limit encodes not just the CPU number but the
   node ID as well ...

So use a better nomenclature all around: name everything related to this trick
as 'CPUNODE', to make it clear that this is something special, and add
_BITS to make it clear that these are number of bits, and propagate this to
every affected name:

	VDSO_CPU_SIZE         =>  VDSO_CPUNODE_BITS
	VDSO_CPU_MASK         =>  VDSO_CPUNODE_MASK
	__CPU_NUMBER_SEG      =>  __CPUNODE_SEG
	GDT_ENTRY_CPU_NUMBER  =>  GDT_ENTRY_CPUNODE
	vdso_encode_cpu_node  =>  vdso_encode_cpunode
	vdso_read_cpu_node    =>  vdso_read_cpunode

This, beyond being less confusing, also makes it easier to grep for all related
functionality:

  $ git grep -i cpunode arch/x86

Also, while at it, fix "return is not a function" style sloppiness in vdso_encode_cpunode().

32bc6b4d93 UPSTREAM: x86/vdso: Initialize the CPU/node NR segment descriptor earlier
Currently the CPU/node NR segment descriptor (GDT_ENTRY_CPU_NUMBER) is
initialized relatively late during CPU init, from the vCPU code, which
has a number of disadvantages, such as hotplug CPU notifiers and SMP
cross-calls.

Instead just initialize it much earlier, directly in cpu_init().

This reduces complexity and increases robustness.

Like in normal vDSOs, when compat vDSOs are enabled the auxiliary
vector symbol AT_SYSINFO_EHDR needs to point to the address of the
vDSO code, to allow the dynamic linker to find it.

Add the necessary code to the elf arm64 module to make this possible.

9df36878a6 BACKPORT: arm64: compat: Add vDSO
Provide the arm64 compat (AArch32) vDSO in kernel/vdso32 in a similar
way to what happens in kernel/vdso.

The compat vDSO leverages on an adaptation of the arm architecture code
with few changes:

 - Use of lib/vdso for gettimeofday
 - Implement a syscall based fallback
 - Introduce clock_getres() for the compat library
 - Implement trampolines
 - Implement elf note

To build the compat vDSO a 32 bit compiler is required and needs to be
specified via CONFIG_CROSS_COMPILE_COMPAT_VDSO.

The code is not yet enabled as other prerequisites are missing.

To take advantage of the commonly defined vdso interface for gettimeofday()
the architectural code requires an adaptation.

Re-implement the gettimeofday VDSO in C in order to use lib/vdso.

With the new implementation arm64 gains support for CLOCK_BOOTTIME
and CLOCK_TAI.

4e7e5eab74 UPSTREAM: lib/vdso: Provide generic VDSO implementation
In the last few years the kernel gained quite some architecture specific
vdso implementations which contain very similar code.

Introduce a generic VDSO implementation of gettimeofday() which will be
shareable between architectures once they are converted over.

The implementation is based on the current x86 VDSO code.

e3db5d1536 UPSTREAM: nds32: Fix vDSO clock_getres()
clock_getres in the vDSO library has to preserve the same behaviour
of posix_get_hrtimer_res().

In particular, posix_get_hrtimer_res() does:
    sec = 0;
    ns = hrtimer_resolution;
and hrtimer_resolution depends on the enablement of the high
resolution timers that can happen either at compile or at run time.

Fix the nds32 vdso implementation of clock_getres keeping a copy of
hrtimer_resolution in vdso data and using that directly.

3d31057b51 UPSTREAM: arm64: compat: Reduce address limit for 64K pages
With the introduction of the config option that allows to enable kuser
helpers, it is now possible to reduce TASK_SIZE_32 when these are
disabled and 64K pages are enabled. This extends the compliance with
the section 6.5.8 of the C standard (C99).

119a92134d BACKPORT: arm64: compat: Add KUSER_HELPERS config option
When kuser helpers are enabled the kernel maps the relative code at
a fixed address (0xffff0000). Making configurable the option to disable
them means that the kernel can remove this mapping and any access to
this memory area results in a sigfault.

Add a KUSER_HELPERS config option that can be used to disable the
mapping when it is turned off.

This option can be turned off if and only if the applications are
designed specifically for the platform and they do not make use of the
kuser helpers code.

c198164a09 UPSTREAM: arm64: compat: Alloc separate pages for vectors and sigpage
For AArch32 tasks, we install a special "[vectors]" page that contains
the sigreturn trampolines and kuser helpers, which is mapped at a fixed
address specified by the kuser helpers ABI.

Having the sigreturn trampolines in the same page as the kuser helpers
makes it impossible to disable the kuser helpers independently.

Follow the Arm implementation, by moving the signal trampolines out of
the "[vectors]" page and into their own "[sigpage]".

USB 3.2 Specification updated configuration summary descriptor
different from drafted version. This descriptor is needed per
function. Descriptor provides list of configuration indices
that include that function. Use bcdVersion to handle spec

51dd650781 ANDROID: fix wakeup reason findings
The 0-day test bot found three minor issues in the wakeup_reason
enhancements patch, including two undeclared functions that should have
been static, an allegedly uninitialized pointer (which is actually set
in the line immediately prior to cppcheck's complaint), and a type
mismatch when printing timespec64 fields on a 32-bit build.

These changes address those findings.

Fix cfg80211_gen_new_bssid() to not rely on u64 modulo arithmetic,
which isn't needed since we really just want to mask there. Also,
