commit7c8d42fdf1upstream. The alignment check in prepare_hugepage_range() is wrong for 2 GB hugepages, it only checks for 1 MB hugepage alignment. This can result in kernel crash in __unmap_hugepage_range() at the BUG_ON(start & ~huge_page_mask(h)) alignment check, for mappings created with MAP_FIXED at unaligned address. Fix this by correctly handling multiple hugepage sizes, similar to the generic version of prepare_hugepage_range(). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
