[ Upstream commit8015d93ebd] tcindex_destroy() invokes tcindex_destroy_element() via a walker to delete each filter result in its perfect hash table, and tcindex_destroy_element() calls tcindex_delete() which schedules tcf RCU works to do the final deletion work. Unfortunately this races with the RCU callback __tcindex_destroy(), which could lead to use-after-free as reported by Adrian. Fix this by migrating this RCU callback to tcf RCU work too, as that workqueue is ordered, we will not have use-after-free. Note, we don't need to hold netns refcnt because we don't call tcf_exts_destroy() here. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
