We have changed the return type for sysc_check_active_timer() from -EBUSY to -ENXIO, but the gpt12 system timer fix still checks for -EBUSY. We are also not returning on other errors like we did earlier as noted by Pavel Machek <pavel@denx.de>. Commit3ff340e24c("bus: ti-sysc: Fix gpt12 system timer issue with reserved status") should have been updated for commit65fb736761("bus: ti-sysc: suppress err msg for timers used as clockevent/source"). Let's fix the issue by checking for -ENXIO and returning on any other errors as suggested by Pavel Machek <pavel@denx.de>. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
