[ Upstream commitf7db2beb4c] Currently variable data0 is not being initialized so a garbage value is being passed to vxge_hw_vpath_fw_api and this value is being written to the rts_access_steer_data0 register. There are other occurrances where data0 is being initialized to zero (e.g. in function vxge_hw_upgrade_read_version) so I think it makes sense to ensure data0 is initialized likewise to 0. Detected by CoverityScan, CID#140696 ("Uninitialized scalar variable") Fixes:8424e00dfd("vxge: serialize access to steering control register") Signed-off-by: Colin Ian King <colin.king@canonical.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
