[ Upstream commitc11204c78d] This code fix a bug that sk->sk_txrehash gets its default enable value from sysctl_txrehash only when the socket is a TCP listener. We should have sysctl_txrehash to set the default sk->sk_txrehash, no matter TCP, nor listerner/connector. Tested by following packetdrill: 0 socket(..., SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP) = 3 +0 socket(..., SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP) = 4 // SO_TXREHASH == 74, default to sysctl_txrehash == 1 +0 getsockopt(3, SOL_SOCKET, 74, [1], [4]) = 0 +0 getsockopt(4, SOL_SOCKET, 74, [1], [4]) = 0 Fixes:26859240e4("txhash: Add socket option to control TX hash rethink behavior") Signed-off-by: Kevin Yang <yyd@google.com> Signed-off-by: Eric Dumazet <edumazet@google.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
