[ Upstream commit43ade6ad18] Clang warns when one enumerated type is converted implicitly to another. drivers/net/ethernet/intel/i40e/i40e_virtchnl_pf.c:4214:42: warning: implicit conversion from enumeration type 'enum i40e_aq_link_speed' to different enumeration type 'enum virtchnl_link_speed' [-Wenum-conversion] pfe.event_data.link_event.link_speed = I40E_LINK_SPEED_40GB; ~ ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 warning generated. Use the proper enum from virtchnl_link_speed, which has the same value as I40E_LINK_SPEED_40GB, VIRTCHNL_LINK_SPEED_40GB. This appears to be missed by commitff3f4cc267("virtchnl: finish conversion to virtchnl interface"). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
