commit5858bdad4dupstream. The directory may have been removed when entering fscrypt_ioctl_set_policy(). If so, the empty_dir() check will return error for ext4 file system. ext4_rmdir() sets i_size = 0, then ext4_empty_dir() reports an error because 'inode->i_size < EXT4_DIR_REC_LEN(1) + EXT4_DIR_REC_LEN(2)'. If the fs is mounted with errors=panic, it will trigger a panic issue. Add the check IS_DEADDIR() to fix this problem. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
