The data structure adf_fw_config is used to select which firmware image is loaded on a certain set of accelerator engines. When support for 402xx was added, the adf_fw_config arrays were duplicated in order to select different firmware images. Since the configurations are the same regardless of the QAT GEN4 flavour, in preparation for adding support for multiple configurations, refactor the logic that retrieves the firmware names in the 4xxx driver. The structure adf_fw_config has been changed to contain a firmware object id that is then mapped to a firmware name depending of the device type. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
