On AM62x there are no hardware interrupts routed to A53 GIC interrupt controller for MCU MCAN IPs, so MCU MCAN nodes were omitted from MCU dtsi. Timer polling was introduced in commits [1][2] so now add MCU MCAN nodes to the MCU dtsi for the Cortex A53. [1] commitb382380c0d("can: m_can: Add hrtimer to generate software interrupt") [2] commitbb410c03b9("dt-bindings: net: can: Remove interrupt properties for MCAN") [fd: fixed labels to match datasheet numbering, revised commit message, fixed reg/reg-names order] Signed-off-by: Judith Mendez <jm@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Francesco Dolcini <francesco.dolcini@toradex.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230802073635.11290-2-francesco@dolcini.it Signed-off-by: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
