[ Upstream commit26208a7cff] raid10_sync_request() will add 'r10bio->remaining' for both rdev and replacement rdev. However, if the read io fails, recovery_request_write() returns without issuing the write io, in this case, end_sync_request() is only called once and 'remaining' is leaked, cause an io hang. Fix the problem by decreasing 'remaining' according to if 'bio' and 'repl_bio' is valid. Fixes:24afd80d99("md/raid10: handle recovery of replacement devices.") Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
