[ Upstream commit6283e4834c] As per information from Qualcomm [1], this property is not really supported beyond msm8916 (HFI V1) and some newer HFI versions really dislike receiving it, going as far as crashing the device. Only consider toggling it (via the module option) on HFIV1. While at it, get rid of the global static variable (which defaulted to zero) which was never explicitly assigned to for V1. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
