[ Upstream commit 73bf1c9ae6c054c53b8e84452c5e46f86dd28246 ] Smatch reports the warning below: drivers/gpu/drm/exynos/exynos_hdmi.c:1864 hdmi_bind() error: 'crtc' dereferencing possible ERR_PTR() The return value of exynos_drm_crtc_get_by_type maybe ERR_PTR(-ENODEV), which can not be used directly. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
