[ Upstream commitdb8eae6bc5] We currently allow to create perf link for program with expected_attach_type == BPF_TRACE_KPROBE_MULTI. This will cause crash when we call helpers like get_attach_cookie or get_func_ip in such program, because it will call the kprobe_multi's version (current->bpf_ctx context setup) of those helpers while it expects perf_link's current->bpf_ctx context setup. Making sure that we use BPF_TRACE_KPROBE_MULTI expected_attach_type only for programs attaching through kprobe_multi link. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
