commitb8ebf25099upstream. syzbot is reporting uninitialized value at iforce_init_device() [1], for commit6ac0aec6b0("Input: iforce - allow callers supply data buffer when fetching device IDs") is checking that valid length is shorter than bytes to read. Since iforce_get_id_packet() stores valid length when returning 0, the caller needs to check that valid length is longer than or equals to bytes to read. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
