commitb26cd9325bupstream. This fixes a similar problem to the one observed in: commit4e5a04be88("pinctrl: amd: disable and mask interrupts on probe"). On some systems, during suspend/resume cycle firmware leaves an interrupt enabled on a pin that is not used by the kernel. This confuses the AMD pinctrl driver and causes spurious interrupts. The driver already has logic to detect if a pin is used by the kernel. Leverage it to re-initialize interrupt fields of a pin only if it's not used by us. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
