commit0d98ba8d70upstream. 'Commitcc27b735ad("PCI/portdrv: Turn off PCIe services during shutdown")' has been added to kernel to shutdown pending PCIe port service interrupts during reboot so that a newly started kexec kernel wouldn't observe pending interrupts. pcie_port_device_remove() is disabling the root port and switches by calling pci_disable_device() after all PCIe service drivers are shutdown. This has been found to cause crashes on HP DL360 Gen9 machines during reboot due to hpsa driver not clearing the bus master bit during the shutdown procedure by calling pci_disable_device(). Disable device as part of the shutdown sequence. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
