btrfs_calc_trunc_metadata_size differs from trans_metadata_size in that it doesn't take into account any splitting at the levels, because truncate will never split nodes. However truncate _and_ changing will never split nodes, so rename btrfs_calc_trunc_metadata_size to btrfs_calc_metadata_size. Also btrfs_calc_trans_metadata_size is purely for inserting items, so rename this to btrfs_calc_insert_metadata_size. Making these clearer will help when I start using them differently in upcoming patches. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
