This reverts commit77fa5e15c9. Since the upstream commite792ff804fdepends on the generic kretprobe trampoline handler, which was introduced by commit66ada2ccae("kprobes: Add generic kretprobe trampoline handler") but that is not ported to the stable kernel because it is not a bugfix series. So revert this commit to fix a build error. NOTE: I keep commita7fe237845("ia64: kprobes: Fix to pass correct trampoline address to the handler") on the tree, that seems just a cleanup without the original reverted commit, but it would be better to use dereference_function_descriptor() macro instead of accessing descriptor's field directly. Fixes:77fa5e15c9("ia64: kprobes: Use generic kretprobe trampoline handler") Reported-by: kernel test robot <lkp@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Masami Hiramatsu <mhiramat@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
