[ Upstream commit62a063b8e7] Anatoly Trosinenko reports that this: 1) Checkout fresh master Linux branch (tested with commite195ca6cb) 2) Copy x84_64-config-4.14 to .config, then enable NFS server v4 and build 3) From `kvm-xfstests shell`: results in NULL dereference in locks_end_grace. Check that nfsd has been started before trying to end the grace period. Reported-by: Anatoly Trosinenko <anatoly.trosinenko@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: J. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
