commit2148927e6eupstream. Commitce0aa27ff3("sfp: add sfp-bus to bridge between network devices and sfp cages") added code which finds SFP bus DT node even if the node is disabled with status = "disabled". Because of this, when phylink is created, it ends with non-null .sfp_bus member, even though the SFP module is not probed (because the node is disabled). We need to ignore disabled SFP bus node. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
