Commit885872b722("MIPS: Octeon: Add Octeon III CN7xxx interface detection") added RGMII interface detection for OCTEON III, but it results in the following logs: [ 7.165984] ERROR: Unsupported Octeon model in __cvmx_helper_rgmii_probe [ 7.173017] ERROR: Unsupported Octeon model in __cvmx_helper_rgmii_probe The current RGMII routines are valid only for older OCTEONS that use GMX/ASX hardware blocks. On later chips AGL should be used, but support for that is missing in the mainline. Until that is added, mark the interface as disabled. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
