At the moment on DG2 at least loading the DMC firmware's PIPEDMC C and D programs leads to sporadic unclaimed register accesses while programming the initial state as described by the firmware's "MMIO init" table. This will also lead to later unclaimed accesses for unrelated transcoder/pipe registers backed by the pipe C and D display power wells. Disabling the PIPEDMC clock gating during initialization - similarly to Wa_16015201720 fixed this problem in my tests. While pipe A an B requires the clock gating to be disabled all the time pipe C and D requires this only while accessing the PIPEDMC registers. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
