[ Upstream commitd54820b22e] When target mode is enabled, the pci_irq_get_affinity() function may return a NULL value in qla_mapq_init_qp_cpu_map() due to the qla24xx_enable_msix() code that handles IRQ settings for target mode. This leads to a crash due to a NULL pointer dereference. This patch fixes the issue by adding a check for the NULL value returned by pci_irq_get_affinity() and introducing a 'cpu_mapped' boolean flag to the qla_qpair structure, ensuring that the qpair's CPU affinity is updated when it has not been mapped to a CPU. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
