[ Upstream commit2a0fb3c155] Always set an IBAT covering up to _einittext during init because when CONFIG_MODULES is not selected there is no reason to have an exception handler for kernel instruction TLB misses. It implies DBAT and IBAT are now totaly independent, IBATs are set by setibat() and DBAT by setbat(). This allows to revert commit9bb162fa26("powerpc/603: Fix boot failure with DEBUG_PAGEALLOC and KFENCE") Reported-by: Maxime Bizon <mbizon@freebox.fr> Signed-off-by: Christophe Leroy <christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/ce7f04a39593934d9b1ee68c69144ccd3d4da4a1.1655202804.git.christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
