commit7c1cf55577upstream. The return from the call to platform_get_irq() is int, it can be a negative error code, however this is being assigned to an unsigned int variable 'parent_irq', so making 'parent_irq' an int. Eliminate the following coccicheck warning: ./drivers/gpio/gpio-idt3243x.c:167:6-16: WARNING: Unsigned expression compared with zero: parent_irq < 0 Reported-by: Abaci Robot <abaci@linux.alibaba.com> Fixes:30fee1d746("gpio: idt3243x: Fix IRQ check in idt_gpio_probe") Signed-off-by: Yang Li <yang.lee@linux.alibaba.com> Signed-off-by: Bartosz Golaszewski <brgl@bgdev.pl> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
