[ Upstream commita59addacf8] Process the result of hdlc_open() and call uhdlc_close() in case of an error. It is necessary to pass the error code up the control flow, similar to a possible error in request_irq(). Also add a hdlc_close() call to the uhdlc_close() because the comment to hdlc_close() says it must be called by the hardware driver when the HDLC device is being closed Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
